Staying local and exploring the opportunities that can be presented is really good Ralph. I have sort of adopted the same approach lately and have found it extremely useful for my photography. I was amazed by the handheld high-res photo of the moon. Best result though on a tripod. With very fast shutter speed you may get some truly amazing results.
Glad you liked it Thanos. Yes, the high res worked pretty well, I will be trying out some tripod based Hi-res (80 megapixels) at some point. Thank you for watching and commenting
Enjoyed the video Ralph, the capture of the Moon looked really good. I like the idea of showing the results of your projects look forward to watching that. Happy New Year to you and the family.
Glad you enjoyed it John. The project wrap up will hopefully be coming up soon. Happy new year to you and yours. Thank you for watching and commenting

Happy New Year Ralph and a great start for the year and hearing you plans for the year. Love the shoot of the moon and the plane - amazing. Many thanks for sharing your work and look forward to the next
Hi Ralph, Happy new year, I enjoyed this week’s video and looking forward to seeing what you get up to in the coming year. Nice shots this week, the plane by the moon was excellent.
Happy new year Ralph. Thanks for all your 2024 videos and looking forward to your 2025 ones. Pleased to see that you are enjoying the OM system and look forward to seeing how you get on with it. I found the menu system quite a change from Canon but well worth it in the end.
Happy new year to you as well. I'm glad you liked the videos and I appreciate your support. So far I haven't found the menu too much of a problem but I keep mixing up the controls (muscle memory) but I'm getting better. Thank you for watching and commenting
I am sure you will pleasantly surprised at what can be achieved with the OM system, I have been using Olympus and OM for years. I have the same set up as you have they are a good combination of carry about do owt lenses. chuck the 60mm macro in the bag and you have the lot. Have fun Ralph and Happy New Year
So far I am really pleased with the OM set up. The 60mm macro does look tempting but I think i will get used to what I have first. Thank you for watching and commenting and Happy new year
I did look at that scene, but I couldn't seem to get a composition I liked out of it, A bit too much clutter going on that may not have shown up in the video. Thank you for watching and commenting
Firstly happy new year Ralph, interesting to see what you have in store for 2025, should be a good year and look forward it. Loved the image of the plane and the moon that was just amazing and well timed. Ralph question, i think you own an Imac but wanted your opinion on colour calibration and i cant remember if you've done a video on that already. But how essential is it especially for printing. Many Thanks and have a great week
Happy new year! Jim. The plane was a bonus and I almost missed it. I have a Macbook and a BenQ monitor. The BenQ is calibrated (I use a Datacolor SpyderX Pro ). I still find I have to adjust things quite a bit for printing. I think you can get away without calibration but printing may be a bit more hit and miss so may end up being more expensive. Hope that helps. Thank you for watching and commenting
Happy new year! This was my first go and I was quite impressed. I'm going to try the tripod HR (80MP) soon as well. Thank you for watching and commenting

I thought the scene behind you at 6.25 of the cute little building with the bank of cloud above it might have been worth a look...
