As an EG fan, that was such a frustrating bo5 to watch. 100T beat EG at their own game and deserve that win, though. Feel bad for Danny cuz the kid played out of his mind.

I don't really think Danny's pick matters much this game. His team was running it and another 1v5 Trist play just isn't likely. If you wanna be upset at someone for game 5, be upset at Ignar and Jizuke.
probably cause ziggs is a good counter to aphelios, while trist is better in early game, she loses out in late game against him and the other ADCs that counters him are banned out or can't carry. but the biggest problem was his team ran it down and the sion pick contributed nothing to the game
true. I was questioning EG over them putting Danny on Ziggs. Like why? Why would they do that? They just got carried by Danny in Game 4 and they pick Ziggs for Danny. Cant Jizuke just play a AP champion? It was obvious that Jizuke was not able to carry with his Lucian and it was only Danny who can turn the game around. For some reason, they put their faith on Lucian.
Why you would put Danny onto Ziggs the literal game after he makes one of the greatest plays in LCS history is beyond me... Danny is very clearly the reason they were even in a game 5, so why not put him on something that can be a play maker. I'm not saying he did bad as Ziggs, but lets be honest, you aren't going to 1v5 penta on a Ziggs.

I think the Ziggs pick is getting a lot of unwarranted hate here tbh. Even if he picks Tristana, his mid and support are still going 0/3 each in the early game. And you can't pick champions to rely on miracle 1v5 plays. Fact of the matter is that EG just needed to play better game 5. Draft wasn't the reason they lost.

@@bluntbangs youre right 100% but youre also forgetting the fact that a meta during a series evolves based on who's performing on what champs. yea ziggs isnt a bad pick in the meta at all and the draft on paper is fine but when your adc is clearly popping off you wanna enable him to continue to pop off instead of acting as if its a brand new game

Yes he got 0-3 in game 5 but absorbing that much so his team can make cross map plays is kinda pog champ.

He lowkey is the only top in NA that will trade his life consistently if it means getting a couple of the carries below like 65% but usually it's towards 50% then Closer, Abba, or FBI can abuse carry items like collector or exe ults.
I remember DL saying that champions with point-click CC like Ryze were tough matchups for Lucian in his official Lucian pocket pick video haha
Ryze worked differently back then, W was actually instant point and click cc. you didn't need to mark beforehand

@@finalfrontier001 Oh, sorry to break it to you, but bot lane mostly consists of 2 people and ignar has his prime days past him. Danny has huge potential, when he gets more experience (the kid is 17 rn rofl) and some more stable teammates.

They forget to get it, also they spend most of their money on redwards so they can't buy it. It's a good item tho
12% stat boost is only on the bonuses on what they have. The most value you’ll get is from hp and it’s not even that much. The problem with the item is that there are better items in the moment that will be more impactful than “12% bonus stats”. Like 100 hp goes to 112 hp, that 12 hp doesn’t rly do much. 10 ability haste goes to 11, 40 ap goes to 44 ap, numbers wise it’s not bad but u 100% prefer another item with similar stats but with an actual passive or active like a zhonyas for rakan Leona or an anathemas chains.
Pro games almost never go late enough where the support has enough items for it to matter. The money is better spent on other items.

Idk the full interaction but ashe’s passive converts crit to extra damage on targets affected by her passive slow. So I doubt it doubles the extra damage it just takes it out of her passive and puts it on rageblade
@@Theosis10 that is correct to an extent. The main purpose of building rage blade on Ashe is purely if you know you can get enough autos in to make the wits end purchase on her (which you should in almost every situation because it’s busted) proc more making it an even more valuable item. Ontop of it allowing her to keep her q spike on for longer by being able to activate it more in fights if you can get the autos off right.

@@daniellord9066 no its still useful for the on hit as it allows you to proc wits end and if your going say bork or kraken slayer more often. i personally like it but I do not get it till say 5th item.

That is actually the best current Lucian build, with lethality and Serydas, his R will melt your ass
Lets be real, everyone talking about letting through Ryze, but Jiizuke was very comfortable against Ryze and ate his face off multiple games in a row. I think the Viego was the real dealbreaker here, he got way too much value every single game, regardless of how badly his team did.

Viego just needs to be banned from pro play. Closer was just easily 1v3ing at lvl 4 with no items. Inspired got a crazy Penta against Mad Lions when they were losing. Riot of course won't change it because they don't give 2 shits about competitive integrity

I respect how Danny has been playing league since 6 years old but consider that this game markets to young children. The UA-cam adverts for league are particularly obvious in their target market. A game made by the people who play it would never be subjected to this form of shameless coercion. The same can be said for our government systems which are essentially controlled by private monetary systems.
