The fight of real estate interests against wind power on cycladic island of Tinos well documented.
Might three small wind turbines impact business plans of a most powerful oil & gas customer?
Could a long term plan for a big real estate project be jeopardized by 3 little, most remote wind turbines?
Are other lucrative business, such as tranporting oil & gas to remote Greek islands in danger?
How easily could a small island and its population become hostage of an influencial business man from Northern Greece?
Do such persons care about property rights, nature and permissions, if their business is perceived to be jeopardized by 3 wind turbines?
What does it take, to create such a movement on a small, remote island in Greece: retired police men, a notary, a mayor, a lawyer, a banker ?
Only ten years ago, the very same island provided the (real estate) means for one of the biggest corruption scandales in Greek post- war history...
Let's just believe that the real estate agent, the investment banker, the notary defend jointly the spiritual home place of the wind god Aeolos.
But why should they use illegal means in their holy fight against a small family owned wind energy business?

If the citizens dont want it, they shouldn't have it.
      That is democracy after all

You should really re-watch the video, if those questions still remain.

@@athsyn7778 so if the few street blockers don't want renewable electricity, you would switch of the desalination plant for all islanders?🤔

@@michaeldifliff4804 it is not a few people, it is the whole island. Don't compare things that have nothing to do with each other.
      This needs to stop now.
