I think in some part of the game john actually says someone in his gang helped push him out of that life. Arthur of course wasn't a character at the time but when they made red dead 2 arthur became that person edit: it might actually just be this scene when he says "that's the life I left, or tried to leave" it kind of nudges towards how he wouldn't have gotten to live peacefully at beechers hope with his family without arthur

Btw since then i improved my skill with the controls, i am after all playing with mouse and keyboard so takes a while to get used to the controls, as the game progresses u will see my skill improve. because ORTHFOR didn't exist when they made this game and John had said he doesn't like talking about him. But I can definitely see one mention of him to Landon Ricketts in Mexico or when John confronts Dutch PLAN der Linde in a remaster of this masterpiece

yeah would like to be able to play without emulator, proper mouse and keyboard. Hopefully with optimisation. Graphics and audio werent shabby atall.
