The thing that makes me curious is that we are in a complete new environment. We now have an ETF and companies like Blackrock in the market. That is totaly new and Im not sure if we still can compare market behaviour from now to the old bull and bear phases.

Nope we haven't seen it yet. There's a 8-10% minimum drop still required on the Total Marketcap of ALTS excluding the top 10 that needs to happen for this drop to be Valid that BCB is referring to

I like what you said once before, the BTC halvings aren't really the drivers of the market. It seems to rather be that it correlates more with the rates. I just think we have to wait until Fed changes course. I think we will probably see that in coming months. Most likely imo it will coincide with the war in Ukraine going very bad for the US/NATO. "look here, don't look there"
Pauses and rate rises are better than cuts. In fact. Cuts tend to make the top (according to Bcb).

It's unfortunate i didnt again sell at retracement levels.. as I banked on there being a an altcoin surge beyond the .702. Stupid mistake.. in my opinion it doesn't look like it will get beyond that... We do have hopes that rate cuts would send the dow higher and thus btc hopefully but if we have a bottom here and btc just continues in this spiral... Wouldnt this definitely not be the alt coin bottom? And from my analsys of this information it looks like btc expansion and ergo altcoin explosion is not going to happen... So really how can this be the altcoin bottom.. I feel 70 percent chance that it is not -- anyone wanna chime in - sorry I am not being negative - I welcome any discussion.

For Bitcoin yes. For Altcoins, bigger push up first, maybe, then all downside for a while.
My interpretation of his viewpoint is that BTC is going to somewhat run out of gas and other coins take over. Over time.
I'm a mathematician and I remember when Bitcoin was $3 and I was looking at the numbers and I thought it could very easily go to $1 million.
This was before all the other coins, though.
Now I'm looking at the market and I'm thinking BTC is running out of gas, and we're going to see a huge altcoin explosion.
