    Hello again, followed your help last time and it worked like a charm. Can you please tell me, is there a way I can set up a filter so that I can delete emails from one individual Label as of a certain date. Say for instance: Label Name delete emails before December 31, 2022. Many thanks for your time and help!

      Hello! Thrilled our prior guidance was beneficial for you. To remove emails from a designated label preceding a certain date, input "label:name before:YYYY/MM/DD" in Gmail's search bar. Once displayed, use the 'Select' checkbox, then click the 'Select all ...' in blue, and hit 'Delete'. We might produce a detailed video on this soon. Thanks for the positive feedback!

      @@cleanemail Hi, the steps you provided did not work. I appreciate your time and efforts trying to help me. I used the Search bar (on a desktop pc) and typed in: label:Auto:2021/01/01
      I got the prompt: No messages matched your search. Try using search options such as sender, date, size and more.

    Hi! Can I make the rule "only send this auto reply to a sender who has not been sent this auto-reply before"?... Or something of the sorts?

    Good video but why, o why, do content producers play put background music on their videos? It's really distracting to hear the audio throughout the whole video. I couldn't watch this to the end, sorry! It's a real shame

    Great video, can you please tell me, is there a method I can use to move emails from a specific sender to a label of my choice? I have a Label called General, however emails I received from a specific person I want to move to their own Label which I have created. There are years of emails from this person so doing this one by one would be very labor intensive. Thanks for any advice you can offer. Much appreciated..!

      Hi there, absolutely! Gmail has a feature to do exactly that.
      - In the search bar at the top, type the email address of the sender.
      - Click on the "Show search options" on the right side present in the Search box.
      - In the "From" field, make sure the email address of the sender is there. Click on "Create filter".
      - In the next screen, choose "Apply the label", select your specific label from the dropdown.
      - Check "Also apply filter to matching conversations" to move the old emails.
      - Click on "Create filter".
      Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any more questions.

    • @cleanemail
      @cleanemail  Рік тому

      The issue may be in the size of your screen. Please try to play with the size of the window, or when creating a filter, or just use keyboard to click the button (Tab to switch between options and when it is on the button, press Enter).

    I've applied the filter "Apply label" and while it works, it is still sent to my inbox. Am I doing something wrong here?

    • @cleanemail
      @cleanemail  Рік тому +1

      Hey! It seems like you might be missing one step. When you set up your filter, make sure to check the box "Skip the Inbox (Archive it)". This will ensure that the emails go straight to the applied label and not your inbox. Give it a try and let us know how it goes!

      When you set up a rule, it can process multiple emails depending on the criteria you set up.

    I contiunual get email for a different person...how do I block this?

    • @cleanemail
      @cleanemail  Рік тому

      If in Gmail, you may click Block (in the three dots menu); however, Gmail marks these emails as Spam and that doesn't mean you won't get emails from these senders in the future. You can set up a rule to delete emails coming from that sender automatically, or Skip Inbox (achieve it). Alternatively, you may try a third-party app, like Clean Email, for example that can do the work for you.
