Best line of the whole movie

This movie is the bane of my existence lol. Back in Highschool I wanted to be the cool guy and be a sophomore with a tattoo, so I got his "Lone wolf" tattoo, 4 years later this movie came out and my tattoo was his little monologue, my friends never let me live it down and have called me the Lone Wolf since
sounds like you got the notoriety you wished for. Why not just embrace it?
@@nooneofconsequence1251he didn’t want notoriety, he wanted to be perceived as cool
@@candvdz9618 Is anyone actually cool in high school? In mine, the so called jocks were the typical jerks and rarely the star athletes. Usually a smart person who was also in plenty of extra curriculars like music or science club was the star athlete in each class and the "jocks" were just the sad party group and supporting cast in any activity.
You guys should watch Grandma's Boy. Nick Swardson, the stalker on this, is hilarious.
Seconding this. It's a classic 2000's raunchy stoner comedy but it's a lot of fun
Counterpoint: Please god no. It's not good. The humor isn't funny to anyone with an IQ over 80
@@chrisdeluca6577 "adios turd nugget zzzpoof zzzpooof"
@@chrisdeluca6577 It's a fucking stoner comedy, what do you expect? Bergman?
What does High Score mean?
One Will Arnett line that I'm sad didn't make it into this version of the video was during the scene when the Van Waldenbergs are guilting Katie about their dead parents and Will Arnett goes "Remember how they used to be alive?"
We'll randomly bring it up in my house when a character is just revealing their sad backstory out of nowhere.
This movie and Balls of Fury are two of my go-to sports movies
You dont wanna go fast?
Balls of Fury is an international treasure
Balls of fury is hilarious
I'd add Semi-Pro to that list.
The fact the same guy in balls of fury was in the new Harry Potter movies is great
As I comment on yet another video about how much my family still quotes whichever film we're viewing, I come to the realization that the only gift my bloodline has, is the ability to make movie quotes our entire personality.
But the point still stands that this movie was a staple in our house when I was growing up and there are so many funny scenes and lines engraved in our memory. Need a sibling to help you? "Here Katie, can you do this- I don't know how to turn it ooooon." Sister mad and storming away? "Nooo- come back... we love you and stuff..."
"IMPURE! IMPURE!"
Ma wasn't a big Will Ferrel fan, but I'm glad this one made the cut when we were growing up. Them doing a walking chase scene on ice skates was comedic perfection. I'm glad you guys enjoyed this, your reactions always make my day- but especially when you react to a movie like Blades of Glory.
"Throw Me Some Chicken!" Is my favorite quote on this film
Jon Heder played chicken Joe in Surf's Up.
"Whoever invented rope was a real a-hole!"
It's so interesting how there was an era of movies where the joke was "haha this dudes are gay" but at the same time the message was "being gay is cool guys" and it somehow worked pretty well.
27:01 That's Sasha Cohen, famed US figure skating champion, just one year after her 2006 olympics appearance where she took home silver. Crazy cameo at the time of this movie release.
Jon Heder can speak Japanese since he lived there for 2 years for a religious mission for his church
so thats why he dosent do a lot of movies anymore. he left Hollywood for his religion? admirable. but he was funny. he should have done more.
He's Mormon.
If you know about the Mormons, they have one of the best language program. All my cousins are fluent in another language.
@@mrgonzale0978 Doing anything for religion automatically makes it less admirable.
@@mrgonzale0978 What would be admirable about that? Ending your career for some fictional book character?
Besides, he still does it. Still takes on acting roles but seems to be doing mainly voice acting now.
The scar on Will's abdomen is from a condition called Pyloric Stenosis. When a newborns muscle overdevelops and cuts off the tube to the stomach. Causing them to vomit up basically everything they eat. Requires surgery to fix. My son had it at 19 days old. Much smaller scar now a days. My sons was 15 years ago and it was just about an inch (2-3cm) long.
Thank you for the disturbing yet fascinating information.
The Cutting Edge is the best ice skating film. "Toe pick"
George: I wanna see some more Jon Heder movies.
Me: After looking up all the good Jon Heder movies: Well you saw them all.
Napoleon Dynamite dipsht
@@BabyNoah22 They've already watched it.
I mean benchwarmers and school for scoudrel arent to bad
@@kylegareau9238 Both of those are better than that shitty Napoleon Dynamite.
Hey you beautiful people, just wanted to say I love your duo reactions to these films and shows, it’s uplifted my spirits during some low points in my life, hope you keep doing what you do ❤
This is such an underrated comedy. Glad you guys got around to this!
Never clicked on a video so fast. Love that movie.
You should 100% watch Eurovision, that movie surprised me!
What's colder than dry ice?
I'll tell you what is, *Oksana.*
Oh, anyone throw out Semi-Pro yet? Oh, yeah, and the 1980 Flash Gordon. Maybe Lego Batman.
Semi-pro is absolutely irredeemable trash
@@ericbyo9472 real jive turkey behavior brosef.
@@ericbyo9472 you jive turkey.
@@robertcampbell8070 ...............................did you just call me a Jive Turkey? 😡
this movie and semi pro are absolutely horrendous
This, Talladega Nights, and Anchorman are some of my favorite movies ever. Miss 2000s Will Ferrell movies!
Napoleon Dynamite and Pam from The Office...the greatest love affair we never thought we needed.
Also, please watch "Balls of Fury" next!
Oh yeah, Jimmy and his stalker are in Benchwarmers too.. i like thst flick
Craig T Nelson being their coach, because he was Coach, is pretty funny casting.
For another sports comedy - Stick It, with Jeff Bridges coaching
Yes. It's not called gymNICEtics!
This was a movie we'd watch on snow days or long bus trips in highschool, ive seen it a million times but not for 15 years. Looking forward to a rewatch
Oh please watch "Eurovision" with Will Ferell, thats a small, hidden Netflix Gem!
I love that movie!
This is one of my favourite silly comedies, I rewatch it a couple of times a year. Easily my favourite Will Ferrell role - despite him being so gross a character - after Elf. Jon Heder, Will Arnett and Amy Poehler are hilarious. And the cameos by real life ice skaters are so good.😢
I love this Movie sooo much, Will is so freaking hilarious omg 😂
I love Will Ferrels drunk anecdote about Gary the squirrel
I don't know if this was meant as an inside joke in the casting, but the actor that coached the two guys in this movie actually was in a TV series called Coach as a coach.. lol Also the voice of Mr. Incredible in The Incredibles. Will had pyloric stenosis and had a surgery as a baby to correct it. Basically they widened the opening from the small intestines and stomach to allow food to get through better. 22:37 you see her holding back laughing here and I love it. She is so close to breaking with that smile coming through.
It was meant for everyone to get the joke. In fact the character is just named "Coach".
I here by say 2 men scissoring is now called Tridenting 🔱🔱
12:29 I KNEW I HEARD THAT SOMEWHERE
I've been lifting to Watch the Throne album. Sampling Will is perfect for that song.
You should watch Hot Rod, starring Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, Bill Hader, and Danny McBride. Will Arnett is in it too.
Yes jon heder is fluent in Japanese and he also sprained his ankle while filming the movie
Underrated Ferrell masterpiece
I forgot how amazingly funny this movie is. Great reaction, thank you!!!
The judge that hands down the ban is KITT from Knightrider
I think more people their age would know him as Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World.
@@DJKurohTo me he is always Dr. Mark Craig from St. Elsewhere, but I'm old.
"The Foot Fist Way" with Danny McBride is another hilarious comedy that many people don't know about for some reason.
Eh overrated imo
@@thalanoth how can an UNDER known movie be OVER rated? 🧐
@Matt_Mosley1983 by those that have seen it giving it more praise than it deserves? Aint rocket science guy

Ay this movie is so underrated
29:35 *I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THIS MID-CREDITS SCENE!* SO GLAD YOU FINALLY GOT AROUND TO THIS! 😀
Next Jon Heder movie: _THE BENCHWARMERS_
YOU'RE KIDDING ME :) This is gonna be hilarious!
This movie is so over the top ridiculous and it's fantastic.
When my girlfriend and I watched this together we laughed for 15 minutes at the Twin Dongs scene. We seriously couldn't breath. I don't know if I have ever lived that hard in my life.
Glad someone watched and enjoyed my favorite guilty pleasure film!
"How dumb do you think Will Ferrell's character is gonna be?" 😂😂😂 Idk why that made me spit my drink out.
You guys should watch “Benchwarmers” it stars Jon Heder, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. Also Nick Swardson the “stalker” in this movie is also in Benchwarmers with a very funny role.
Loved Benchwarmers!
21:35 oooo you should watch I, Tonya!!
"Death to smochy" is my pick for next watch
Btw, to feel less grossed out Amy and Will Annett were married either before or after this movie
This is an all timer for me, haven't clicked this fast in awhile 😂
2000’s were great for comedy movies
The scene with the brush is epic!
"What do you call it when two men scissor?" A sword fight. lol "Blades of Glory"
Coming out of the theater after watching this my buddy Dave dropped his phone on the seat and I picked it up but before giving it back to him while he was in the bathroom I dialled his voicemail and changed the outgoing message in my best Jimmy Macilroy voice to "Hi, you're through to Dave and I just wanna say if you can dream it you can DO it!".
He did not see the funny side when he found out a week later
Definitely add Grandmas Boy to the movie list. incredibly underrated movie.
Underrated by who?? I watched that every day after school for a year getting stoned with friends lol
This movie and Balls of Fury were absolutely unhinged in the best ways
"What's the most ridiculous song to figure skate dance on?" Oh, that's easy; Cotton Eye Joe.
1:57 I just realized that's the same song Will Farrel sang in Stepbrothers 😂
My older brothers name is Michael, when this movie came out he was know as Chazz and it’s since stuck. It doesn’t help that he’s a grown man that acts like a child sometimes lol
Been waiting for this one for years!
9:43 And there she is, ladies and gentlemen, holding the ESPN2 microphone, none other than Stephanie Courtney! Oh, or as you might know her, Flo from the Progressive commercials. This movie, and The Heartbreak Kid (Ben Stiller) are the only two I know of with her in it.
I LOVE this movie! Never get a good rector doing this 💙
Perhaps the greatest chase committed to film...
27:02 that skater was real life Olympic and World silver medalist Sasha Cohen.
Napolean Dynamite can also ice skate?! AND draw a perfect rendition of a Liger?!
Gooooooosh that dude is talented.
Will and Amy were actually married to each other during the filming of this movie.
Amazing movie with Jon Hader, David Spade and Rob Schneider is The Benchwarmers
One of my favourite comedies
I feel like this movie doesn't get enough love. It just sort of came and went and nobody really cared about it. But it's one of my favourite comedy flicks. Stranz and Fairchild are so friggin' funny. One of Stranz's funniest lines is "Not only did we embarrass Marky-Mark, but we let down The Funky Bunch".
I had no idea until I watched this with my Canadian in-laws and they told me all the cameos.
The scar on Will Ferrel is from a pyloric stenosis operation, I've had the same, but my scar runs vertically.
Jon Hedar does a pretty serious role in "When Jeff Tried to Save The World" about a guy who is the assistant manager of a bowling alley. This is one of those movies I go to when I am trying to watch something a little bit more independent but still has a great cast and quality of film.
In case you don't know, and i would have thought Simone at least might, the entire ending special dangerous move thing is a spin on the popular ice skating movie "The Cutting Edge".
What's really funny is that Will Arnette and Amy Poehler were married at the time.
I still have this dvd lol
School for Scoundrels with Jon Heder is really funny and has a great cast
18:37 "Russia will let you get away with anything there...as long as it's not toooo gay"
3:07 legit ice skating is so wildly snooty that Chaz wouldn’t even be let in the same state as any Olympic event involving ice… they’d literally choose to close the whole event instead of letting him in… they’d shift the qualification requirements, change ALL of the rules with the pettiest most targeted rules, and straight up call the police to trespass him off the property before ever letting him near the ice… so I love his dumbass character!
This is one of the greatest films ever made!
OMG I've watched this movie so many times and just realized now the reporter is Flo from the Progressive Commercials 9:43
john heder and nick swardson are both in the comedy "the bench warmers" also alot of other comedians..good movie
Glad to see greg t nelson coaching again
Craig
@moviesbye9294 him too
I recommend Will Farrels "Semi Pro"
In almost every Will Ferrel movie, he almost always shows off that scar there in his belly at some point. He also would show it off in some SNL skits
Jon Heder, Benchwarmers, small role in Just Like Heaven, School for Scoundrels with Billy Bob Thornton
He also had a tiny role in Napoleon Dynamite.
Majestic starring Jim Carrey is probably my favorite 'serious' movie with a renown comedic actor.
Have you two seen Arrested Development? You would absolutely love it.
@6:59 i never noticed what the pants say that the dad is buying for his daughter 😮🤦
Benchwarmers has Jon Heder and also Nick Swardson. That movie and this movie are my favorites
My wife and I saw this movie in the theater it was hilarious
I LOVE THIS MOVIE
and I can never express it straightuly
Now you just need to watch Just Like Heaven to complete the entire trilogy of watchable Jon Heder films.
He’s so fun in Just Like Heaven! Love his character.
I never got around to watching this when it came out on dvd. But watching this with y’all totally helped me a lot and had fun with it.
Definitely had a good cast. I had a big smile on my face the moment I saw Craig T. Nelson in this film, cause he’s my all time favorite actor. I recommend y’all to watch Action Jackson.
A good Jon Heder movie is School For Scoundrels, also starring Billy Bob Thornton and a cameo by another comedy legend.
"What do you call it when two guys scissor?"
It's called...
...scissoring.
If you haven’t seen “Eagle vs shark” and loved Napoleon dynamite and “what we do in the shadows” you’re missing out, it’s another Napoleon that is SO damn funny!
I forgot about this movie oh man what an awesome comedy!
Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are the real Cersei & Jaime Lannister
GRANDMA'S BOY!!!!! Needs to be watched!
The peacock routine was based on real-life US National Champion and Worlds bronze medalist figure skater Johnny Weir’s 2005-2006 swan short program routine & costume (with red “beak” glove/hand).
“School for scoundrels” is another hilarious Jon Heder movie with billy bob thorton worth checking out and “Benchwarmers” with Jon Heder , Rob Schneider and David Spade and “Let’s go to prison” with Will arnet if havnt seen them
A good comedian has always a serious side to him or her! Jason Bateman in 'Disconnect'!
