- The greatest song in the world if you ask for my opinion. After the last few attempts I had requests for both guitar parts in one. I know this isn't perfect but it's the best I can do on a Sunday afternoon. All recorded using Amplitube Metal (guitars) and Amplitube Ampeg (for bass) Hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun doing it, thanks for watching

Avionics and wires never grabbed me much. I like working on my guitars but that's it.
LambChopper678 Fair enough. I was going to go to school for electrical engineering/avionics, etc but it turns out I'm red-green colorblind. It's limiting me with what I can do with my "Aviation Science and Tech" (Airport Management) degree, but I'm still hoping I can wrench on some kind of aircraft.
Gotta work with the cards you're dealt.
It's been a hobby for the last 10 years, before that I was in a Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan cover band. I worked at it pretty hard for years and got burnt out on it. I didn't pick up a guitar for months after we stopped. What I'm doing now is fun with no commitments or boundaries, I play whatever I feel like
Its very close to the original track. few at youtube have the courage to play without any backing music from the original tapes, and i am not only taking about Megadeth musics, other genres too. Those who do it don't make the cut, unlike yours. Keep it up!
The guitar tone for megadeth is hard to get out of a stomp box or effect pedal. The guts of the tone is the Marshall. All I run on top is an mxr 6 band and digital reverb for the solos on top of a jcm 800
Not gonna lie that last solo around 5:40 was one of the best covers (clear.clean) that I've seen fairplay

fillitwithcheese Yea but not many songs have rhythms like this song or any other megadeth songs .It takes alot of practice ,the rhythm doesnt even line up time wise with the lyrics its fucked .

fillitwithcheese anyone can pull the symphony :P (or at least talk will playing it if he cant sing it).. the holy wars is indeed a bizarre rhythm to sing will playing it because the lyrics are sung "randomly" over it.. you must play the part completely in autopilot mode to pull that off which is impressive
still too damn impressive nc mate... if you can play that rhythm and sing is too damn impressive. ive learnt she wolf but i cant sing while playing the intro rhythm i need to pay attention at the pattern to pull it off... rock on and soloing is fun just because you can improvise with buddies... try it out it is worth it
+Parianos euwest Mustaine is the best rhythm guitarist thrash ever had. Basically retaught Marty Friedman how to play when he first hired him.

This just proves that at guitar riffing nobody can mess with Mr Mustaine, this song is the highest point in thrash metal, this is a real Badass-guitar-riffs song. What it is really amazing is how the fuck can Dave sing while playing this along, its simply insane!!! Good work dude, I have to comeback and see it again.
Since I'm a drummer and have no clue how hard it is to play guitar and I imagine it's quite a challenge and well I think you're amazing and it deserved a subscriber.
It takes skill to almost perfectly replicate the work of Dave Mustaine.
Pick up a guitar and just try to play like 3 notes. You'll get a feel for how tough a song like this is to pull off almost perfectly.
I might attempt to play guitar, it's a challenge but I will try.
I can say from experience that this was my dream song to learn how to play when i first started playing guitar, ill be playing for two years up in September, and it took me this long to just play the rhythm parts.

I came across this vid by accident, and I must say, a true player. If Megadeth were ever to change their line up, and need a new lead guitarist, this guy should be chosen. It takes a lot of patience and practice to get to this level, excellent work, well done....

Maybe my favorite Megadeth song, Lucretia?....always wanted to see the guitar work in detail and how he did that cool crunchy part near the end. Dave always bows down during that part in live videos and I was waaaay too fked up when they came to town on that tour to remember. I'm no guitarist just an old skool metalhead that loves the energy and artistry of it all. Thx for this.

Jackson basses are okay. I used to own a USA made Kramer bass. What happened to it is a long, sad story I had no control over. Same issue involving my Peavey TNT 150 watt bass amp. Now I'm playing Ibanez basses with Hartke amps.
