I think my brain likes this stuff because there's a clear beat you can follow, but at the same time everything around it keeps constantly changing and shifting in subtle ways and noticing all the little details is just delightful, and *just* when you think the same theme has been going on for too long it switches gears onto something else.
I don't know how you do it so consistently but I love it.
IM is certainly predictable in how well they can tickle my auditory processing networks. The beat is the lynchpin that holds together the evolving toe curlingly good harmonic chaos. I've been listening to IM for decades, and frankly, they're unique. I love what they can do. :)

What a great album! I still remember, back then in early 2000's, sitting in Erez's studio up there in the north and planning how to design their 2nd album Classical Mushroom. I was so amazed to see all the synths around and got lucky enough to have Erez play on one of the synths a part from Release Me. .
Super jealous... were you a part of the design team for the cover artwork? Would love to hear some of the stuff that went into that, it's definitely one of my favorite IM covers if that's the case!

Really like the lyrics since they feel so emotional giving some contrast to a nice upbeat beat , the piano towards the end gives it even more feeling, the only critique being the beat hasn't enough changes of tempo or effects

I like infected mushroom a lot but since im not the biggest fan of electronic music most of there songs take a long time to get to the exciting part. This one gets straight to the point.
