Brad Wirgau - Last Man Standing (Cover Version)

this is my cover of a wonderful song called Last Man Standing by Livingston
its grown on me the more I see his tiktok videos about it!
This cover actually took me 4 and a half hours to complete! I started with taking the melody he plays on piano and chose to play it on acoustic guitar. That took me about 20 some tries till I was satisfied with what I recorded. After I got the guitar recorded I moved on to adding a shaker behind that track. Added another hihat for extra percussion. After I had arranged the song and had little percussion I moved on to recording the vocals. This was fairly quick as I already knew the song and melody he sings. The only part I had to listen to again was the little switch up in verse two. I edited the vocals to sound top notch. Once I was happy with everything I had I started adding a few more elements like a simple light crash cymbal. Towards the end of production I thought it would be really cool to add something special on the last chorus so I incorporated some drums and orchestra section! Some final tweaks here and there for the equalizers and effects and it was done!
