Trains And Tones at The Sidings 18/02/16

In this video, we take a look at some of the common workings on the ECML between York and Darlington/Durham/Newcastle filming from the famous 'Sidings Hotel'. It is a great hotel and restaurant and i highly recommend it to anyone! The staff who work there are very kind and welcoming and the rooms are just perfect for a spotter's heaven!! Well done on who ever has been disliking, have a gold star. I couldn't care less.

Yeah it's a great place, and realtime trains don't keep the data for that long ago so I doubt I'll upload anymore because it also takes ages to upload a long video

It's quite far from Northallerton, it's closer to York as it's only 5 miles from the city centre

It's about 5 miles away from York City centre or I think it's about 3 or 4 miles from Poppleton.

+Kirkinstein If you did take the bus it would be number 31 up to South Garth (N-bound) bus stop which is just outside the hotel and then walk down to the hotel and no problem :)

Not very carbon friendly. 61 trains burning huge quantities of kerosene and just 19 using the overhead lines. Great video though..
