    I'd also suggest using a linear() expression to control the limits of the audio amplitude. This avoids having to add [100,100]. For example, you could say linear(pickwhip,10,40,100,125) if you want the scale to be between 100 and 125

    Just a thought, you can also adjust the starting size and the max scaling size by adding linear or ease expressions for each of the scale values.
    example:
    ***= pick whipped audio keyframes
    [linear(***),minimum value of music waveform, maximum value of music waveform, starting scale size, max scale size)]

    Is there a way to base the animation on the amplitude of specific frequencies and not the overall amplitude? That would be nice for doing something like animated equalizer bars. And it would be cool for creating certain animations that respond to the bass while others respond to the lead vocals/solo.

    • @celestial2240
      @celestial2240 10 місяців тому

      This might not be helpful but I’m assuming if you can separate the frequencies and then import those as separate files and repeat the process it could work.

      I second this, would like to see this pinned or hearted.
      It's better to fine tune with imo and fixes a weird issue I had where the Y-axis would automatically be scaled incorrectly upon using expression pick whip (so for example, if it's supposed to be 100%, 100% it would go to 100%, 2%, squishing the image massively). Don't know why it would do that in the first place but w/e, this fixes it.

Similar beats are not in the "5-60 Unit" anymore. I'm getting in my lowest levels around 20 and my highest go up to 2000. Any one have any idea if I'm doing something wrong? Thanks. 🙏🏼
    EDIT: I think I may know what's wrong now, but I have yet to test it. During the tutorial and first videos I made like this; I was using MP3s. I think these high value units only appear when using WAV files. I will try my next project with MP3s and see the results.

    Thank you so much. I,was using sony Vegas and having to zoom in and out for each little frame to get this effect. It took 3 hours to finish a video of this manner that was only a minute and some change. 😅

    This is dope, but can you use/save it as a template. For example, switch songs without having to redo the steps?

    • @salgraziano1620

      don't know if you got an answer yet, but yes.
      File > Save As
      the .aep file can be re-used so u don't have to re-do all these steps

      I would think loading the template and everything would actually slow me down lol this is probably as simple as it gets short of being voice activated lmao

    • @teddiroze7333
      @teddiroze7333 5 років тому

      No because the closest thing would be making your own and learning how to do it. You will then see it's not really possible to make a 100% template. Because of audio keyframes and variations on what you decide to scale, there will be parameters you will have to change yourself. And if you didn't follow the simple tutorial and learn how to make it, you will be lost while trying to edit and make your make-shift template work.
