Play style is great here, no DA, no mind spike, big damage, living the dream. Psychic link and shadow crash are in a great place. Voidweaver will give a lot more identity to void torrent as well next expansion but this is a solid place to start from.
definitely agreed, I wish they would change shadow crash away from being a projectile that you can miss but other that I think shadow is in an excellent spot rn gameplay wise and voidweaver looks so cool especially visually
I just picked up shadow in S4 and have been watching your videos to learn and get a feel for the spec. Even without commentary, I feel like I'm learning a lot from your videos when it comes to using cooldowns, positioning, etc. Such a fun class to play once you get it down. Keep them coming!

in this video I have tome of unstable power and erupting spear fragment, erupting spear fragment is not good though and I would run spoils of neltharus over it.
@@zepp1337same I've been on wowhear and icy veins since the patch dropped. My stats, spec, gear is solid I'm 411 and I'm doing nowhere near this damage in aoe. Idk what I'm doing wrong either
the best advice I can give is to make sure that every mob in the pack is dotted with vampiric touch and to send all of your damage into the target with devouring plague on them because of your mastery
i just can't get my overall very good. im 493 with s4 4pc. can only hit about 300k OA. it doesn't help that I can't get into big keys where things live. im also using distorted reality and spreading.
your ilvl is a bit low as well, but yeah shadow definitely requires on things living for a while to get big overalls. Also in my personal opinion I think distorted reality is harder to play so you could potentially be messing up other stuff by playing that and spreading DP
mind blast, voidbolt and devouring plague all send ghosts to targets with vampiric touch on them so make sure that every mob in the pack is dotted and be efficient with your globals!
Most of the UI is Atrocity's UI which is paid for. You probably won't get it shared because that's something Atrocity kindly asks his subs not to do. But go and check it out yourself, it's not too expensive and it's comprehensive and for every spec. 3 dollars a month I believe.

I see on VOD's that you sometimes go Void Torrent tree line, and sometimes Mindbender line. What's the main difference?
yeah so the mindbender side was with the old s3 tier set however with the new s4 you pretty much always go down the void torrent side instead

Why no maddening touch?
I was trying out some different talents and wanted to try out MD, in general I think maddening touch is the play for the bigger aoe dungeons

yep! im also not a big fan of mindbender, with the s4 tier set you go back to playing the build with no bender

just a tip for your next entangling week, please pick the "fade removes snare" (forgot the name) talent from the class tree :D
good talent, often can be bait as in higher keys you want to only fade for the dr for mechanics
