I was also thinking that there could be a tie in between the supposed suicide at the restaurant and whatever happened to make Peach be able to see ghosts. I would’ve thought they might save that explanation for the end and possibly have it “cure“ his ability to see ghosts, but maybe not. In any case, the show keeps you guessing where it’s going to go next, and that to me is a sign of good writing.
