Nice. Hardly ever see them and missed them several times in the decade or so that we’ve lived here. Then saw them twice this summer out in front of our neighborhood and once from Lime Kiln. Still hoping to be in my kayak at the right place and time someday.
I got really lucky on this encounter. I was riding my bike out on the spit and noticed a group of people pointing and the saw the Orca. Got to love western WA. Bears, Elk, Whales, Eagles and unlimited public lands 🎉
