There is some lag in the recordings and i aplogize for that, the encoding seems to have been to heavy for my weak lil pc and caused a bit more lag in the recordings than what was actually happening in the game

@@Crowmeda I forgot to mention that moshops can also collect wood, thatch, fiber, berrys, meat, and more.
As an ark veteran it is a breath of freash air seeing this someone who doesn’t entirely know what he was doing instead of some of the pros I watch as a ark veteran I could count so many things you were doing wrong and it was really fun to see but we all go through the learning process
Im glad you and so many others enjoy the learning process and can relate to it in a way cuz everyone's gotta get through it lol however so many people have been so nice leaving me advice, i need to step up my game now in 200 days
@@Crowmeda well my advice would be for the monkey boss which in my opinion is easier then the broodmother bring only a Rex army 1 yutyrannus and 1 daeodon but be careful because last time I thought the monkey there is a hole to the right of the bridge in the arena and it will kill anything that falls into it except the boss of course
For the dragon you want to use therizinos which are really great against the dragon
And if you get to fighting the overseer use rexes and a yutyrannus
I really recommend playing some of the other arks cause they are so much more fun and challenging then the island
Lastly to bring up one thing about your curse of finding low level creatures it’s actually a quirk of the island high level creatures are a lot rarer on only the island you have a lot easier time finding high levels on most of the other arks
Also make medical brews there health potions you make from narcotics and tintoberrys in a industrial cooker/cooking pot
And then we have me. Who is in the same boat as he was before this. Only playing casually and not knowing how to advance beyond the metal stage of around 40~60 in level.
@@Phantom_373 also its difficult when you get alot of bad luck trying to search for a bp, for me i had been doing it for around a month of straight looting and i couldnt find it. So, i ended up playing other games, dont know when ill play ark again.
Yea I have over 100 days on ark and love to watch new people play I also like helping people learn the game

These "100 Days" videos have been a trend lately, but yours is one of the most enjoyable I've seen so far :) It was so nice to see someone (relatively) unexperienced play this game without knowing it inside and out, and appreciating the journey like you did. Witnessing some of your firsts, seeing you learn more about the game mechanics, and watching you bond with your tames, really made it special, especially with that sense of humor of yours. this gives me so much nostalgia playing single player ark. my friend brought me into pvp and ive never looked at ark the same. When you spend so much time in pvp it is very hard to get back into single player. great vid btw

just start up a world...you'd be surprise how similar the action is in pve. it's a great time as you remember!
@@sebastianc2811 you really feel so? I wish it was but for me its not. First time raptor tame, first time cave, first rex. Its amazing as a new player, everything is an adventure. But when u play ark for 2k+ hours always with "effective" and "rush" in mind pve looses its excitement/challenge really fast on a fresh wipe. (maybe its a bit different when u play on a private PVE Server which trys to makes surviving a challenge but I never played on a unoffical pve so idk)
But I will always remeber my first ark server, it was amazing.
Everything I don’t do in a pvp server feels useless now, used to enjoy the Pve side and can’t get back to it :/
@@brunsiH96 You can always bump the difficulty on your ini files and/or download mods that make it harder for you on pve. You can even make challenges for yourself, idk. I used to main pvp and I didn't even know that ARK had a lore itself, honest to god I just thought it was Rust but with dinos, so I never touched or did boss fights after 1k hours of just pvping with my friends on servers. Until one day I clicked on a video called "The story of ARK explained: The Island" and my mind was blown away and I knew I had to try it.
I loved the Skyrim´s theme olaying in the background most of the time. it made me feel cozy. Also, great video mate, quite entertaining to watch you play and learn things on the go. It was truly enjoyable.

By the way, AMAZING video bro! i really enjoyed this vid, it was really engaging and felt so special watching you get some dinos for the first time, and how excited and realistically nervous you were and how you expressed that. most 100-day speedrunners dont like to express their fear of losing or not being good enough and it makes it boring when they just simply go "and so i tamed rex's and killed the boss, done", you instead gave us the excitement too! thanks and keep up the great work ^^

Alright so quick tip for dinos that get knocked out and start drowning.
Tame an Equus. The Equus has the ability to craft a lasso which can be used to pull certain dinos in a direction of your choosing by moving in that direction and if that Dino is knocked out it will just get dragged along the floor without resistance. Which is perfect for getting the dinos out of the water and stop them from drowning. Hope this helps.

@@Crowmeda no worries and a bonus tip, when riding the Yuty into battle or against a boss press the C key instead of the right mouse button for the encouraging roar it’ll boost resistances and damage by like 20-25% for your dinos instead of making it do a fear roar which doesn’t do too much in boss fights.

@@Crowmeda well seen as I’m on a roll I’ll finish with this. I noticed you were having trouble finding high level dinos throughout the map, one good tip is to use the Dododex creature spawn map not only will this tell you what Dino will spawn where but it’ll also tell you what other dinos take up spawn priority for that area and will need to be cleared before the Dino you want to get can respawn.
This may take a couple of tries but take a stack of rare flowers put it in an item slot and go to one of the spawn areas with a Rex or something that is good at killing a lot of dinos, now use the flower and clear out the area with your Rex/Dino of your choosing. The rare flower when consumed causes everything in the immediate area to aggro onto you making it easier to clear them out as they literally will not run away.

I came here after watching your scorched earth video and it was amazing to see how much you have improved. I used to play Ark with my brother all of the time on the PS4 and I got nostalgic near the beginning of the episode, remembering my brother and I's first night, and our first tames. These videos have been so entertaining and are also what encouraged me to get the PC version of ark after our PS4's disc reader broke. Thank you once again for bringing back those old memories and encouraging me to try a similar thing for myself.

Yea ik, I’m not an official player anymore, when I play it’s on like 5 or 6x unofficial due to not as much time, but seeing someone play it for the first time is something else, wish I could have this much fun in PvE😂

This is my favorite 100 days by far. I love how you learned the game throughout the video. Also I like how the video was longer because it gave me something to enjoy for a decent amount of time. (Oh and imprinting gives +20% across all stats of a Dino and if you are riding it you also get an additional 30% damage and damage reduction buff) Can’t wait to see what’s up next.

Imprinted dinos are so good, I just raised my first yutyrannus and with the imprinting bonus it is a speed demon. I'm also taming a female giga to breed with my male and I am so hyped

@@MrBassGamer When raising a baby dino it will periodically ask for a walk, to cuddle with you, or it will want comfort food. Walks and cuddles are pretty simple, just let it follow you for a while for walks and press E on it to cuddle, but comfort food is a little more annoying, it can be anything from just a berry, to cooked prime meat or even kibble. There is a little exploit that lets you reroll the imprinting requirements though, if you have cryo pods and your baby asks for something ridiculous like exceptional kibble you can put it in a cryo pod, and when you throw it back out the requirements might be different. You don't have to get every imprint, even if you only get one it will still be better than a normal dino, but if you get 100% imprinting your dino will come out significantly stronger than it would be if you had just tamed it

In all seriousness though I’ve never been able to relate to someone this much, every other ark UA-camr I watch has advanced so far that they fly past these moments within seconds. Love the video, you’ve earned a sub.

Another, The Island is notorious for spawning low level dinos. That is one of the struggles of the island.

I can definitely relate to the excitement of taming your first big carnivore, at first I thought taming dinos was going to be way harder than it actually is so I barely tamed anything, when you tame your first rex you feel like a god
Also, if you do another 100 days video you should try to get some mutations on your dinos, it's really fun running around on a bright pink T-rex

I am not yet at the end of the video but I am totally enjoying it! I played the game for a few years now with 3,5K hours almost exclusively on my own in PVE. I have almost beaten Ark, only the last Rockwell boss on Gen2 is missing, but I am still learning a few things, simply because I never done them before or didn’t stumble upon them.
It is so refreshing seeing you learn the game because you make it a fun experience for the viewers. I love your humour :)

Imprinting helps with adding more stats onto the babies as they become imprinted, basically adding extra stats without having to level it. Hope this helps!

as an ark player of about 4 years now this was extremely refreshing it brought back a few memories as when i first started playing ark i miss it a lot tbh

I had to go into the actual game files and change some stuff to get high levels to spawn, maybe you should look into that too. Also maybe look up what imprinting is because it’s actually really good gives the tame a buff while your are riding it. But considering you aren’t a hardcore ark player you smashed this. I used to play it 24/7 for like 3 years 😂 and I don’t think I could’ve solo’d a 100 days I would’ve died on the first day guaranteed. Would love to see you do all the stuffs boss fights on all maps and the overseer (Tek cave) :)

If you walk off a high cliff, when you get close to the bottom, dismount and you’re tame will not take fall damage

Tip for future boss fights:
- You can’t bring Paracers or Brontos or anything thats as heavy as them into a boss fight (It wasn’t Mary’s fault, she’s just too thick for a boss fight)
- Breed rexes for health and melee mutations and try to go for 100% imprint.

@@Suchonyx Yeah i freaked out since marry wasnt there and had planned to use the turret there and had cleric set to Auto Courage, but since i hopped onto cleric for safety, i messed it all up xd
@@Crowmeda OH i also wanna let u know that the big fish you saw that was level 1 was harmless. Unless you’re on a raft or you hit it first, it will leave you alone. You can even swim up to it and scrape off some free prime fish meat for the YEEE boys. Good luck on the ARK!

Nice vid! One thing btw, you were fear roaring the entire time in the boss fight. Fear roar is right click, which scares away enemy/wild creatures, and courage roar is C, which gives a 25% damage reduction and friendly damage increase.
Yeeeah i got so worried since Marry wasnt there, and i need to hop onto some dino, and ended up on cleric, who actually was on auto courage, and well, yeah used the wrong roar. BUT thank you! i learned alot through all these helpfull comments to do better in 200 days :D

Imprinting makes the dinos stats stronger But only if the person who imprinted it is riding it. Love the content man. Thats an easy sub from me😊

This is actually false. Imprinting raises the dino's stats (not only while riding) by 20% (vanilla settings, stamina not affected). While riding it gives you increased damage output and damage resistance.

Three tips
1. Use the ark wiki, it has everything you need to know there.
2. Use Dododex for taming creatures, it’ll tell you how much tranqs you’ll need to use and what to feed the dino.
3. Watch ark vids for other tips, a great channel is @pterafier

First off I just want to say that I found this video randomly. I only watched since I was curious on what this game was about. I've always seen it but never tried playing. Not gonna lie I literally sat through the whole thing laughing. You made a fan of me even after deciding this game isn't for me. I'm definitely going to watch and see what else happens. Hey man, I love your 100 days video, it was great and entertaining! Something to know is that if you're constantly looking for good level stuff, then kill things that aren't what you are looking for in the areas that the thing you are looking for spawns in because that promotes spawns which gives you the chance to see something that is better level.
Your video was absolutely incredible! I have played that game for years and its amazing seeing someone play it that is a little newer.

I love this. I have over 5000 hours in ARK now. It’s the first 200 days that are best. After that it’s just grinding resources and breeding. Seeing you learn and reliving this experience is really funz

You have a smithy in your argentavis saddle and I think that can repair longnecks (Day 70+).
Sometimes when you shoot I dont think it hits unless the red (diagonal) crosshair shows up on the crosshair (Hunting Yutyrannus).
I think with breeding, the level of the babies depends on the level of the parents WHEN THEY WERE WILD AND NOT YET TAMED that's what I noticed with my experience

Hey loved the vid, quick tip when you harvest cementing paste from beaver dams drop everything in the dam and destroy it so that the beavers make more to generate more cementing paste, they have to make new ones to produce it :)

Now, as for my favorite tame? Raptors.
Pretty nice early-game tame, and when you have a huge pack of them it is easy to navigate beaches.. until you find a Theri.
I come back to this more often than any other 100 days, (minus Luke The Notable’s), I just want to say that this is so entertaining and you definitely have a subscriber.
Dimorphodon too; they can fly and have such small hitboxes that they are a PAIN to hit. They’re also really easy tames; and in groups they are very good hunters.

I do like this video a lot. I'm about halfway through and couldn't help but stop and notice you sound like the voice actor for Bartok from Anastasia and it just sends me into fits of laughter to think about that evil little guy playing ark because he was tired of Grigori pushing him around for so long xD
this is me 1000% back when I first started. If anything, I was even more clueless. Thinking how easy the game seems now after hundreds of hours.. back then, taming a lvl17 therizino was an insane achievement and it took me 2 days of prep, both mentally and physically :D
