Wow ! Of all the hotels to stay at in Capri, you guys stayed at La Tosca? My all-time Favorite hotel on Capri. I love that place. I've been staying their Since 1986 when it was then called Villa Tosca and was just a simple pensione. When the son took over, he modernized it to a wonderful little boutique hotel and changed the name from Villa Tosca to La Tosca. I've covered almost every inch of Capri over the years and I have to say that the location of La Tosca is to me the most perfect spot in all of Capri. When you sit on the terrazzo, the view is absolutely Magic, looking to the Carthusian Monastery, the surround area behind the Quisisana and the view the the Faraglioni Rocks is the absolute Best. Other bloggers ask covertly or not, for gifts and you ask the opposite, to not have gifts sent, even though I am sure many people would love to. So great that you give yourself a little treat now and again.
The Amalfi coast is so tempting to me. All of the things that I love most - gardening, kayaking, hiking, pet-friendly, the sea. But I am afraid of heights, get seasick on any boat bigger than a kayak, and get horribly carsick on twisty roads. I would be in both heaven and hell. :)
I'm like you. I was there 40 years ago with my husband, and never looked down . I remember my husband telling me to look how beautiful, and I'm ignoring him 😆

Perhaps you could always keep a spare memory card with you to avoid annoying delays in filming. Also, to avoid forgetting my phone when going out, I always say “lock phone” whilst locking the door. It is surprising how much bother little tricks like that can save you ! XX
Nicki, invest in a small charging station to keep in your travel bag. This will eliminate using all of the outlets in a hotel room. I have one that charges five different devices at the same time. I also carry different outlet devices for the devices that may be needed in different countries. As always, your videos don’t disappoint! What did you treat yourself to in Gucci? Beautiful Capri...when we visited, we found a path and walked to the top! It was hot and hard work, but well worth it as we discovered some amazing and beautiful houses with ornate gates and stunning gardens overlooking the sea....quite magical...cannot wait to visit Italy again 😊

I lived in a tourist destination for 10 yrs in Canada. It must be so nice for Italians to venture out this time of year and rediscover their towns and local areas.
We did a day trip to Capri when we visited Oct 2017. It was absolutely stunning. We only had time to walk up to the bus stop that took us the chair lift to Monte Solaro, and then had lunch back in town and got lost trying to find our way back to the ferry. I will never forget that day. 🚠

As an Australian Lady 🇭🇲 living in the south of Italy 🇮🇹 ...I was also fortunate to visit Isola Di Capri ( Island of Capri ) last September for my Birthday... without the tourist it was amazing and so relaxing , I was booked for 3 nights... because of bad weather finished up stay 5 nights my Hotel very kindly gave me 1 night free ... I love how the girls and Elizabeth are wearing matching outfits. Capri is beautiful, I did enjoy my visit in 2008, especially the chair lift. I lost my leather band that I bought at the Florence markets.
Beautiful Capri...when we visited, we found a path and walked to the top! It was hot and hard work, but well worth it as we discovered some amazing and beautiful houses with ornate gates and stunning gardens overlooking the sea....quite magical...cannot wait to visit Italy again 😊

I love Capri and I have taken the funicular and buses to the top and then the chair lift, it's so beautiful. Glad you got to see the "blood moon", we saw it here too and with a full eclipse as well. The lemon pizza was just like a normal margherita with maybe a bit extra mozzarella and lemon zest grated over it. So easy to do!

Today the Giro d'Italia finished in Milan. It's been a wonderful 3 week scenic tour of Italy. Despite some rainy days Italy is always beautiful. You are so lucky to live there. xxx

We did a day trip to Capri when we visited Oct 2017. It was absolutely stunning. We only had time to walk up to the bus stop that took us the chair lift to Monte Solaro, and then had lunch back in town and got lost trying to find our way back to the ferry. I will never forget that day. 🚠

Super moon was blood moon a total lunar eclipse on my sign of Sagittarius. And that one photo was amazing. As an Australian Lady 🇭🇲 living in the south of Italy 🇮🇹 ...I was also fortunate to visit Isola Di Capri ( Island of Capri ) last September for my Birthday... without the tourist it was amazing and so relaxing , I was booked for 3 nights... because of bad weather finished up stay 5 nights my Hotel very kindly gave me 1 night free ...
