Personally, I would wire it up to the reverse lights. But, having the option to switch it on is nice. Could probably wire it up to both points so it can get power from either source.

I've got a 2012 pajero I've taken the original roof racks off and I've got major leaks holes in roof and water comeing in near the front window have you ever done a video to rectify this
Wouldn't it make more sense to wire this up to the reverse lights ? that way its actually used as a reverse light instead of a spot light at the back of your car . just a suggestion :)
You can definitely do that but I chose this way as it is more convenient to do as wires are right there and I like to use it when checking on the trailer at night without having to put it in reverse to check on something 😊

This kit will camp onto existing rails. The size is perfect. It is not the strongest but will do the job for like camping chairs etc. Don't load it up too much over 40kg I'd say😊💯

Hey mate you're right about the screws but it does sit in the holder securely and it is forced against the trim where the fog holder is screwed back on. I have been on many corrugated roads and it hasn't moved a bit😃💯
nice vid bro ! do you know of any mod to revive the backlight to steering wheel switches ie cruise etc ? mine are intermittently flicking , similar to bad earth i spose. id like to brighten or even change to red or blue
My cruise control switches on the right also went dead and switch stopped working so cruise control stopped working. I just bought new switches and now the light is back on and cruise control works again😄👌🏼💯
Hi there, just wanted to clarify, so by following your setup, will I be able to use the light when reversing automatically or will I manually need to flick the switch each time I want to use it. I'd like to just use it when reversing rather then flicking switches as I'd definetly forget to turn it off. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks.
Manually flick switch matey. It does show on dash a yellow light when it is turned on. If you want you can wire it into your reversing lights instead. In this way it will only go on with reverse lights🙂💯
Hey James. Not all cars have fog lights. If you live in a foggy area keep it...I don't so the reverse light works better for me. It may be illegal but just don't turn the light on when someone is driving behind you. Chances of being pulled over are low 🙂
Seems like a good idea until you realise that you no longer have a rear fog light. Fine if you are never going into fog but can you guaranteee that? The rear fog light is designed to be a lot brighter than the brake lights. Will I do it? No; I shall be getting rear reversing lights installed as a separate item.
How many cars these days come with fog lights anyway haha. Just get brighter brake light leds and off you go. Been driving through many foggy days. Watch my Glasshouse video. You'll see brake lights by itself plenty enough 🙂💯
While im 100% for mods and really Don't care about legality it's only fair people know this is Not legal for 2 reasons. Rear facing white lights can only activate while in reverse and you are removing a safety aspect of the original equipment being the rear fog light. With that out of the way nice clean mod well done!

Hey man this light is controlled by the fog light switch so can go on and off when headlights are on. Doesn't activate when in reverse🙂💯

SO the LED light isnt really secured in place is it? The black screws are purely for aesthetic reasons? Does it rattle or move around?

My light was cracked before I took it off so I just broke it but it is glued together so can come off without breaking it🙂💯

So where is the fog light now?. The fog light is imperative for safety. If you want reversing light add some less and hook them up in addition
