The leader Bang Chan actually picked all the members himself from other jyp trainees which was a first in K-pop overall! He trained for 7 years so the company trusted him to do it but they did the show to prove they were ready to debut. He also designed their logo. They write and produce all of their own music and have made songs for other artists as well. This song is from a special album rather than an actual comeback. There’s 3 songs as a group and then 8 solo songs that they’ve been performing on their tour that will all get their own music videos over the next 2ish weeks
@@onceuponamelody Much love & appreciation! I don't feel there's much creativity in K-POP reactions, so I'm trying to mix in some!! Thank you so much for watching!!!
There are 8 members. Pretty much all 8 of them can dance, sing, and rap. They’ve debuted in 2018 and the leader, Bang Chan had been a trainee with JYP for 7 years so he tried something different and had Chan choose who the members would be. They’ve had a show about it called Stray Kids (named after them). There is a main rap line: changbin, Han, Hyunjin, and Felix. The main vocal line is Seungmin, I.N, Lee Know, and Bang Chan. Changbin and Han those 2 with the leader, Bang Chan, make up the production and main songwriting sub unit called 3Ratcha. Since they do their own writing and producing, their songs often combine or even sometimes defy genres. The main 3 dancers (Dance Ratcha) are Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Felix. The Vocal Racha sub unit is Seungmin and I.N. But there are songs where all 8 of them sings too Their name “Stray Kids” comes from how they are not following the path laid out by others but finding their own way and inviting all their fans, who may feel like they are also kind of their own wandering path, to join them. They often say if you take the r from Stray Kids you have the reason for why they keep going, and you have Stay which is what their fan base is called. At the end of their mvs they have another saying: Stray Kids everywhere all around the world. You make Stray Kids Stay. This is part of that and that together all of us Stray Kids have found a place together to Stay. “Our goal ever since we debuted was to reach as many ‘stray kids’ as possible, to deliver our music and give strength to people who really need it.” BANG CHAN, 2022 I love watching people react to Stray Kids for the first time! I’m a 90s kid from Southern California. This is giving me a bit of nostalgia because so many elements are from that vibe and time but made in a SKZ way! Sea walking or C-walking comes from Crip walking which was big in SoCal especially LA and Compton based rap/hiphop. I’d recommend watching the dance practice because there’s a lot there isn’t showing in the MV. I’d also recommend these songs: Gods Menu, Thunderous, Chk Chk Boom, Back Door, Easy, Venom, and even some of their holiday stuff like Christmas Evel, Christmas Love, and Winter Falls. They all kind of show different aspects of their styles and growth.
Glad you liked it! Stray Kids actually debuted in 2018, Go Live was just their first full-length album. Check out Chk Chk Boom, which was their July title track.
I like your reaction and the little knowledge bubbles would Like to see you react to their unique hit songs like #GodsMenu, Thunderous or LALALALA for an idea of their range! Also the group is self produced 3 of their members called 3Racha write, arrange and produce 95% of their music this is unique to any group in K-Pop
❤Thank you for supporting our boys. Hyunjin's solo M/V "So good "will be released on December 21st. We are waiting for your reaction to his video too ❤❤
