I found a magazine that has been sitting here for months, still wrapped in plastic that it was mailed in. It is wonderful to have you back, Nicole. Praying for your comfort every day. And I think it’s great, I know you mentioned in the past that your Dad supported you in your art, and he is proud of you. As to the Karens lol, I worked at a high school until I retired last year, in attendance. I would spend the day listening to stories from kids and their study hall absences (lies) but I believe everyone, or their parents (Johnny has a dentist appointment at the last minute on an 82 degree Friday) -the dentist made a lot of money that day- and then I finally get to leave and there is Karen, blocking my car in just the way that you described. I would politely ask her to move and she’d say she was picking up Johnny, I’d be like, duh, and so is everyone else. Now I am free to watch your videos and make stuff all day, and I’m glad you are here with your great glue books and even funnier stories. Thank you, Nicole!

I'm so very sorry about your dad's passing. My father passed away in 2011 and I still miss him. I think I miss him even more than I miss my mom. Maybe because I didn't get to know him as well. I keep thinking of things I want to ask him. Anyway, you have my sympathy. I hope your good memories of your dad will bring you comfort.
Twice this week I’ve almost picked up my phone to ask my Dad a question, only to remember I can’t. I’m still in shock from it all, but I know with time it will be a bit easier. Losing a parent is a pain I never knew existed until now.

I'm so very sorry about your dad's passing. My father passed away in 2011 and I still miss him. I think I miss him even more than I miss my mom. Maybe because I didn't get to know him as well. I keep thinking of things I want to ask him. Anyway, you have my sympathy. I hope your good memories of your dad will bring you comfort.
Twice this week I’ve almost picked up my phone to ask my Dad a question, only to remember I can’t. I’m still in shock from it all, but I know with time it will be a bit easier. Losing a parent is a pain I never knew existed until now.
