OH my gosh! My school district is off for 2 weeks due to potato harvest break! It’s a great time to reenergize and regroup! I have been spending lots of time binge watching your videos! I even have some of my teammate teachers hooked as well! Thanks to you, I have also discovered Primary Scouts! Love her retelling resources! ❤️ I can only imagine how difficult it is to teach all day while also vlogging throughout the day, at night, and on the weekend. It is important to me that you know how much I have enjoyed watching. My hope is that you will continue! Again, thank you for everything that you do!!
Amy!!!! Thank you SO much for this comment!!!!!! It put the biggest smile on my face!!! And yay for the retelling kits haha! I do stay busy I guess...but it's so important to me...I will take a break if I need it but in the mean time thank you so much for watching
I just want to say that I honestly try and stay away from teacher content especially on UA-cam because it always feels so unrealistic and makes me feel shitty about what I’ve got going on at work. I NEVER feel that way with your content because of your transparency, which is what I love. This last video was one of my faves! Don’t get me wrong it’s nice to see “school stuff” for when you need ideas or need to get motivated but I LOVED seeing more lifestyle content from a fellow teacher that’s not sugarcoating everything!!!
This comment was held for review so I never saw it but WOW...thank you SO much for this. It is seriously so so encouraging to hear. I really try to be as transparent as I can. I'm also glad you love the lifestyle content!!!! Thank you for watching and thank you for appreciating the kind of content I am putting out
I love your videos so much, including the random things: sniffs pan before cooking, question marks appear on screen. LOL!! You are so fun along with being one of the hardest-working teachers I've ever seen.
Haha!!! I was actually trying to blow on the pan to cool it down because it was too hot 😂 (and realized immediately that was dumb 😂) in glad you like those little moments! Thank you for the love!!!
I use a read aloud kit (linked in the description) that gives LOTS of activities to incorporate throughout the week (more than we can even get through) so that's helpful if you teach k/1! Otherwise, read alouds are linked to whatever standard we are focusing on and you definitely don't need an activity for them every day! Next time I plan, I'll keep this comment in mind!
Ahhh I love the part with their little voices reading with you! Adorable! Thank you for taking all the time to make these kinds of videos for us! Love them! I’ve been subbing and hellllllo my body is so tired! I’ve been listening to it and not pushing myself to workout if I don’t feel like it!
Looks like you had a great week. I keep thinking about you and the missing keys. Something similar happened to me the last day of the summer school. I’m glad you found yours. Mine never turned up. It’s still plaguing me a month and a half later. Now I’m wondering if a kid took them. I love watching your videos and getting so many ideas from you. Have a great week ahead.
Hi! Can you go more in depth about your centers? I'm curious about what the students do in each center but my main curiosity is your writing center (especially for your kinders). Thanks!
Right now they aren't doing a lot of writing! They are practicing letters and then they have some fine motor things in there as well! I'll keep this in mind to share for next week!
Loved this video! I already ordered a custom reward jar from Texture´s by Maria. I didn´t know they existed until your video. They are too cute to pass up! I also signed up for Novel Effect. Something else I didn´t know existed! Thanks for sharing!
I don’t still teach Kindergarten but if I did, I would so be using so many of your ideas. I have passed your channel along to a new K teacher and know she’s using your ideas. Thanks for being so inspiring.
Loving the vlogs! I pick up a lot of great tips. Do you remember where you got the letter detective sheets for your Kinders? I know you mentioned Miss Giraffe but that looked more like first grade and couldn’t find the letter worksheets.
Your much better than i am at keeping your plants alive. Back in June I bought 2 plants from home depot that are supposed to come back every year. I don't know what they were except they had blue flowers on them and looked very healthy when I bought them. I came home and transplanted them into larger pots and added nice potting soil. I had them where they would get sun for several hours in te morning and shade in the afternoon. I made a point to water them daily and with each passing day they were looking worse and worse until they died a few weeks later. I was even using plant food trying to save them. Two other times i bought ferns which I always thought were nearly impossible to kill, but i killed them also. I guess I'm a plant murderer. You mentioned that you found your glasses that you like to wear at night. Is there reason you prefer wearing them rather than your daily wear glasses? I assume they are your previous glasses to the ones you wear during the day. So sort of a backup pair and the prescription might might be slightly weaker than your current glasses. But more than adequate for around the house. I'm the retired optician that has commented to you before. Actually if you are wearing those glasses for things like reading or grading papers or any type of close work it's better for your eyes to wear glasses that are a weaker prescription. In fact you don't appear to have a very strong prescription at all. And assuming that your nearsighted you still should be able to read small print without glasses, You really shouldn't wear them at all for things close up. Of course when teaching you don't want to be taking off and putting on glasses all day long so you need to wear them then.

That is so sad. I just bought an airtag...maybe you could try to invest in one of those or something similar. I already feel so much better!
