The Bread of Life - Part One

- After Jesus miraculously fed thousands, the crowds revealed their hearts by the questions they asked. They focused on their physical needs rather than Christ’s spiritual provision, sought to earn salvation rather than receive it, and hoped for more miracles in order to be convinced of Jesus’ deity. In this study from John 6, Alistair Begg examines the needful warning, remarkable declaration, and gracious invitation Jesus offered in response. Only when we’re properly focused on eternity will we recognize Him as the true King and Bread of Life.

"here we can see Jesus as he has been revealed to us" ... a perfect description of the content of the Bible.
James 2-24: you see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.
There are also several other verses about works AND FAITH.
James 2:24 is not saying that you’re saved by works, that’s taking it out of context, this verse points to Ephesians 2:10, the verse talks about the reason why God saved us, to do the righteous works he created us to do to bring his name honor and glory, it’s not saying that these works can save us, when we become born again we have to live out our Christian life and show the world that we are Christians, do the works that God created us to do,James 2:17 says faith without works is dead, some people say there Christians but they are not walking the walk, there just talking the talk , Philippians 2:12 says work out your salvation with fear and trembling, that’s not saying to do works to keep your salvation, that’s saying live out your Christian life that others may see that you are a child of God but people take this verse out of context over and over again, it’s GRACE that saved us and it’s GRACE that keeps us safely in the palm of his hands John 10:28, once we are in the palm of his hands, we are there to stay, they don’t call it AMAZING GRACE for nothing, so many people still don’t get the meaning of AMAZING GRACE.
@@nidiamolina3772 thanks for the reply. I’ve learned I was wrong about works and faith. It’s just faith.
Hate to say it Alis, but you don’t get it either.
I suppose you do ?
