I tried using the service on my laptop and unfortunately my mic wasn't doing what it was meant to and it kept cutting out. Could this be because I was using a USB mic and not an interface? When I went to my Pixel 8 and used the mic (both USB and phone) everything was amazing but it wasn't as nice a set up as the bog screen interface.
The really annoying thing is you can adjust your own mic volume but i see no way of adjusting the incoming volume from guests. When I save this as an audio file the guest volume is too low.
Hi! Are you running your livestream from a computer browser or your mobile iOS/Android device? Can you try to clear your browser cache and see if this resolves the issue? You can also reach out to us at support@podbean.com and we can take a deeper look at this. Thanks!
@@Podbeancom I had the same issue with a Chromebook using Chrome. The Call In, Effects and Audio didn't work/the menu wouldn't drop down. Once I tried it on Mac all worked. PC too. So there is some issue with Chromebooks and the OS.
Has anyone ever used a Rodecaster Pro or Tascam Mixcast 4 with Podbean Live? Do the sound pads work in the stream? Also, I am assuming all 4 mic channels work simultaneously in the stream, as it's an interface. I'd love to use either unit for a live stream. It would be fantastic if the sound pads worked. Anyone?
Hi there! Podbean uses your computer's input/output settings for the stream, meaning that if you're using an interface on Podbean Live, you should be able to use your RodeCaster/Tascam, as well as onboard sounds on the pads. We have many podcasters who have had success using their interfaces and RodeCasters! -John
Yes, podbean limits its livestream to only podbean members. If anyone one outside of the podbean community wants to hear you live they must sign up for an account! #sucks
Hi there! Listeners do need to have a Podbean account in order to interact with the livestream. They also have the option to listen in from their browser, but the live chat and call-in features are only active in the app. This is for accountability reasons so if a user breaks our TOS or is abusive in the chat, they can be more easily banned from the livestream.
@@jasonstark5575 Hi! If a user creates a Podbean account, they can interact via the iOS/Android (comment, leave donations, etc.). However, without an account, a listener can still listen to your livestream in the iOS and Android Apps, as well as via their web browser. :) Thanks!

Is there a way lo livestream video?? If not, how would I go about it?
can they hear the audio I mix in Logic Pro X? I use a zoom H6 interface with a XLR mic
Hi! You can use the H6 & the XLR mic and simply bypass using Logic Pro X...Podbean Live will pick up your interface.
Thanks!
@@Podbeancom Thanks a lot im loving this service so far
Thank you

Do listeners need to have a Podbean account, or can they just listen by clicking the link?

@@tee85 yes, I think that is a pretty inconvenient setup. It straight up limits your audience potential.

@@Podbeancom I see, so does this mean that non account holders can listen, just not interact?
