This game looks genuinely fucking phenomenal but I really wish the pacing was bumped up just a bit. I think it’s honesty not fun just unloading rounds onto a tower for 3 minutes straight while he just stands there.
This is a hero demo video, gameplay is recorded against bots. With humans matches are much more interesting, but I can not record them because of the huge ping.
Idk about people who thinks this is bad. But looking at the gameplay its actually pretty good. Its a Shooter that has PVE & PVP elements to it. And people are actually asking for OW to have PVE and this one has it in the game. with i assume in the shop, items and perks for your character to have, to have a different build and playstyle its pretty unique. I saw the teaser and now this, im actually warming up to it now. Would be a fun game to play with your friends like Helldivers 2 but its PVP and PVE combine. So im thinking destiny,OW,DOTA combined.
Is she supposed to have wings or something? A few of her animations seem kinda odd atm and given the crow things in her kit it seems like she should have them in
that should solve the future cheating issue these tf2 fans are fear mongering about. -guns have projectile speed and not instant -shooting the head is not an insta-kill, and overall ttk is significantly higher than all shooter games, (even some mobas tbh) -and from what ive seen so far, basic attacks (shooting) has limited range.
Let's see how it will be in half a year, the game should change a lot by then, both visually and mechanics, judging by the posts from the developers forum.
I think the idea is that because of a longer reload, heroes don't stay in cover for too long instead of getting bombarded. Once the enemy hero reloads, they'll have an angle of opportunity to move in a more strategic location .
Judging by the posts on the alpha testers forum, they are already working on it. As for farming creeps on the line, it's very important now. It's just that in the video we play against bots, it's much easier with them. In the real game there will be a constant struggle for each creep, and then there will be a demand for the already existing in Deadlock “creep camps” and “bosses”.
Who is this game for? Moba players already have League and Dota. Shooters have CS2, CoD, Fortnite, and countless others. Wonder what playerbase they are targeting? Moba players who prefer fps? Fps players who want match progression?
@@BlazeDeval- Overwatch 2 is going to the dogs. Valve is capitalising on Blizzard’s floundering. And it goes without saying that, while there are quite a lot of class-based hero shooters out there, and on the horizon (VALORANT, Marathon, Concord, etc.), with the exception of VALORANT, nothing is going to compete with Deadlock as it’s a third-person shooter with MOBA and tower defence elements. It’s safe, and Valve knows this.
This is targeting the moba crowd for sure. Kind of an odd move considering Dota 2, but I assume there is a plan behind this. Smite almost exclusively overlaps with moba players as well. The game already appears much heavier on the strategy aspect than more "casual" mobas like Overwatch with items and farming. People looking for a shooter predominantly are going to be overwhelmed immediately.
@@ThefamousMrcroissant- I’m curious about this, too. I’m also curious to see if Valve will officially announce this at Summer Game Fest, and what that announcement looks like. Will it be a cinematic trailer? Will it give us a premise? Will it explain what the heck we’re looking at? Very curious.

@spartan576 1. Overwatch is just a hero shooter not really a moba shooter so I don't understand the comparison gameplay loop wise. 2. Of all games why valorant check the art styles again it's not the same.
RIP Valve. Chasing trends i see, instead of making an actual new game, or you know..... continuing any of their good IP's? Instead of HL2 Episode 3, a new Left 4 Dead or an actually improved Counter strike, they embarass themselves with that "Artifact" debacle in 2018, and now they're making a woke Rogue company ripoff?
I mean the lore of this game is pretty interesting I do wanna see how it plays out, also Left 4 Dead 3 will probably never happen that's why the team behind Left 4 Dead left to work on Back 4 Blood, also I don't see how this game is woke it's literally about completing a ritual to summon a god that in return will complete a wish (most of those wishes begin revenge or gaining power) and lastly they are making a new Half Life just for there next VR Headset

All character models are really early. The game won't come out until 2025.

It's a moba. Mobas tend to be more about strategy than twitch shooting. I would say the TTK is still comparatively fast.

Needs more melee focused/evasive focused heroes
Lash, pig like hero, warden, abrams, yamato- there is about 5-6 heroes who feels fully ok in melee combat
