I use no calories sweeteners but only in my eating window, when you're fasting you should stick to black coffee, tea, water and apple cider vinegar. It can make a huge difference.

I agree. Just to be on the safe side I don’t add anything to my tea or coffee. Also, I drink my acv with water only. Once I break my fast I add cinnamon to my acv.
For anyone wanting to cut out heavy cream... seriously when you get a few table spoons of butter(unsalted) and blend(in a blender) with slightly warm coffee (can't be cold or it the butter clumps) it's sooo amazingly creamy, even a very light shade as if you put creamer! And even a little foam on top. After blending you can put it over ice or serve warm and it's the best. Doesn't even need sweetener :) (coming from an ex. sugar addict, haha)
If a diabetic wakes up with 140 as a glucose number on my metre then I put those fats in my coffee then those fats will go into storage because the must be insulin in my system trying to combat that 140 glucose rise every morning the one you call the dawn phenomena
Wow how serendipitous this video came out today! To test your theory that keto coffee doesn't break your fast, I tested my blood sugars after finishing my keto coffee. I followed the recipe exactly, 1 tbsp kerrygold butter and 1 tbsp of coconut butter, but I do like to add a couple of teaspoons of lakanto monkfruit to it. I dash some cinnamon, ginger and cardamom powder on the top. The keto mojo said I was 82 which still is in the blood fasting range. I'll try measuring it again tomorrow without the monkfruit but yes, it seems keto coffee keeps your fast, and I always feel energized and focused when drinking it.
One thing I noticed that helped me still lose weight drinking keto coffee while "Fasting" was I took a chromium pill 10-15 minutes before drinking it. Chromium is meant to lower your blood spike, which is why it's also helpful to take before you break your fast. You can also try apple cider vinegar if you don't have chromium.

From experience of losing 120 lbs and hitting plateau after plateau it's likely what you're eating and the exercise routine you've been doing. Your body gets used to the exercise that you do so you have to switch it up and shock the body with something random it's not used to and the same way with the foods you consume. Instead of walking at 3.5 miles per hour for 30 minutes switch it up 50 minutes if you're riding a bike 12 mi an hour for 30 minutes do it for an hour because the body isn't used to go on that long for those periods of time and the stress that you're putting it under that's going to bring it out of a plateau. If you've been eating less to lose weight and your body's gotten used to it you might have to shock the body and give it more than likely your metabolism wasn't ready for all that extra work and now really turns up the burner.. I lost 120 pounds in 11 months I drank 3 keto coffees buy bang a day I would go to the gym and I would burn about 1200 calories in about 2 hours from what my Fitbit versa said and the cardiovascular machines said at the gym. I will go to the gym in the morning on an empty stomach somebody had no choice but to use its own fat for energy can I go home and eat me a 400-calorie meal majority of it protein in good fats beside vegetables and fruits.. my good fats are avocados black olives olive oil coconut oil nuts and seeds my proteins were chicken breasts eggs steaks fish turkey plenty of collard greens and spinach pause and yeah I Incorporated some apple cider vinegar to

Congratulations!!! I'm so happy to hear that it's been working out so well for you! If you're using high quality sources of fat in your coffee, then there shouldn't be a problem with using it indefinitely. Especially if you're tailoring the amount of fats that you're using to your hunger level. You can also always swap it out for black coffee or 1 Tbsp. heavy whipping cream if you're feeling like something a little less satiating on any given day.
could I use a very little milk/plant milk with my morning coffee? I can't really function without coffee but I am sick from the pure black coffee, can't drink it plain :(
I haven't personally tested it out, but I can't see why it wouldn't work out. My main recommendation is to just make sure you're using instant coffee from a high quality, organic and preferably mold-free source.

I put sweetener in my keto coffee and in a month put on 10 lbs, despite eating only 1000 calories a day, Must have been the reaction to insulin that caused it, despite eating hardly anything. That calories in calories out theory, as we know, wouldn't have caused it.

How much bullet proof coffee a day do you have and when in the day?
