Watching Rose, her family and her community is like watching a daily soap opera, about love, acceptance, cooperation, and good food! Doesn’t get much better than that!
Rose is quite the bargainer.
The vendors do not like her, maybe things are done that way in Africa but not here in China.
She has been asked to leave stores because she harassing the vendors.
The vendors here are not rich ppl, they must make money to feed their families and need money to restock their stores.
In China we call this behavior Kebei de.

Dear Rose, the leave-eating insect is called PRAYING MANTIS. We used to play with them because they are easily found in the Malaysian bushes. They come in different sizes and colours

The cabbage stir fry looks soooo delicious
You can do beans candy. Put the beans (tender) together with sugar, cinnamon, cloves and some anis star and vanilla. Bring it to broil so the sugar melt.

Rose works in the field a lot. Also, none of the other women wear dresses. She should wear what works best for her lifestyle and right now, that's pants. Not dresses. People can prefer her in dresses but need to stop telling a grown woman what she needs to wear.
That's a weird thing to say and rude to tell peoplw how to dress.

She should teach them her language
While Anzai has visited Uganda, his home is in China. It's enough for him to learn so speak, read and write Chinese. No need to pressure him to learn another language. Especially, one he will rarely ever use since Rose is the only person in his village who speaks Ugandan. And she herself, has only visited Uganda once in the 10 years or so she's been in China. No need to learn a language he will have no use for.
@@scribe712The family is now more prosperous. They are building a new house, and Rose's mother is coming soon. As Anzai gets older, it would be nice if Anzai could communicate with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, even on video chat.
Rose speaks (a minimum of) 3 languages. Multilingual people have many advantages in life.

Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if Earthlings did not have conversations about skin color, hair color, eye color and all the other nonsense. I watch Rose and her family and her community. And you know what? Everything about Rose family and community is the same as my community in Mississippi. People caring and sharing. People planting and tending vegetable garden. I have a few chickens for fresh eggs and an old 🐕 dog out in the yard. As a child yes I was picked on and called Donald Duck my name is Donna. Children grow up and quit that silliness. If you've watched enough of her videos, you would know she works in the fields a lot. Also, none of the other women in the village wear dresses. She has no reason to wear dresses regularly. She should wear what works best for her. And based on her videos, that's pants. Not dresses. As for the name of their child, they haven't disclosed either the sex or name of the child. And will do so when they're ready.

Rose, we love pickled cucumbers in America. We just call them pickles. We eat them alongside sandwiches, on sandwiches, sometimes chopped up fine in tuna salad or egg salad, just as a snack out of the jar and all sorts of other ways. We also season them various ways...traditional is just salt, vinegar and pickling spices, but spicy pickles are popular too. ❤
Sorry to say this. Wok is for cooking only, not for tea. Please use a kettle or a tea pot 🍲. If you blend the red beans it become soft then you strain it and fill the popsicle molds and freeze it. Please use a blender..Thank you
