Kanso Stories - Komal

Komal was 18 months when her family first noticed that she wasn’t responsive to sounds. She remained indifferent to most sounds even after using the hearing aids for 2-3 months and hence she underwent a Cochlear™ implant surgery at the age of 2. Her family realized that with normal hearing and speech, Komal’s horizons had broadened by leaps and bounds.
Today, Komal is enrolled in a normal school & is a bright student who loves sports like Kho Kho, Dodgeball & Badminton. This surely helps Komal win the confidence of all her loved ones to lead an independent life.
Komal recently upgraded her sound processor from freedom to Kanso® to have a better and a carefree hearing experience. It not only offers A+ hearing & other features but is also simple, smart and discreet at once.
Komal’s mother is thrilled about intervening early into her child’s hearing problem and recommends the same to all parents.
