This video makes me think about how when my siblings and I were after our parents divorce…a broken family in poverty living with young children who were insecure, scared, and hopeless…Jesus Christ didn’t see it that way, he’s brought my brother and I into his kingdom with purpose with my sister following, I could talk about accolades that my brother, sister, and I have achieved…but until recently I began to see how God turn and guided us in every direction, blessing us along the path as well…Jesus Christ has always been there, even when I didn’t think he was…to God be the glory, forever and ever
Now I know why this song hit me so hard when I first heard it. There is power in transparency and watching the video depict him sharing his heart with someone who is walking alongside him in this walk.
