Brazil and colombia appears to be the fruit paradise of the world. I would like to visit brazil soon and just live on fruits and fish through out my visit.
Unfortunately, Brazil is experiencing a process of food acculturation, where the most valued fruits in the markets are those that do not grow naturally here, like apples or grapes.
Many Brazilians do not even know native fruits such as pequi, jambolão and graviola.

Banana is not sell per kilogram on street open market, it´s per dozen. And in order to pleasure the customer, it´s normal to get a dozen with 13 or 14 bananas. And the prices varies during the time: expensive at the beginning with better quality and cheaper on the end with lower quality. On supermarket the price is per kg.

Nesse vídeo as frutas estão bem caras. Aqui em MS é muito barato frutas no geral, abacaxi por exemplo são vendidos 3 por 10 reais e são grandes. Manga é a única coisa relativamente cara aqui (dependendo da época fica super barato). Mas geralmente tem várias arvores frutíferas espalhadas pela cidade e pelas casas, o que torna bem mais fácil o acesso e consumo.
Ele foi em feiras nos bairros dos jardins em SP, depende do bairro os preços da feira

Eu comprei frutas por 075 centavos e 1 Real em Caldas.
Isso é porque O Centro-Oeste é um se não o maior produtor de frutas do país, minha vó tem uma horta própria é bem simples de fazer.

Don't fool yourself like that. In Brazil we get R$800,00 monthly as our minimum wage. So, R$7,00 for a fruit is pretty damn expensive for us.

That's a bit too expensive I think. I mean, in my hometown (São Luis), the fruit prices are actually half of those prices shown in this video... I kinda got surprised when I saw that pineapple being sold for R$5,00.

Bananas são nativas do sudeste asiático.
Ou tu diz que frutas são nativas do país de origem mesmo (como meus exemplos acima) ou tu diz que frutas são nativas de qualquer país onde são plantadas, e então nesse caso, todas frutas são nativas de qualquer país onde cresçam.

o final do meu texto era justamente pra tentar entender o que tu queria dizer. Pois tu citou erroneamente a origem das frutas (e insiste no erro) então imaginei que TALVEZ tu estivesse dizendo que eram frutas tb amplamente cultivadas no Brasil e por isso seriam nativas.
Não era esse o caso, tu estava falando de frutas com ORIGEM no Brasil. E nesse caso, tu está errado.

Essas frutas aí que você falou são encontradas no Brasil, mas suas origens estão longe de ser brasileras. Vamos ser mais humildes e baixar a bolinha um pouco... Seus títulos não te conferem inteligência ou razão.
Por exemplo:
Carambola - Índia e Sudeste Asiático
Coco - Região do Indo-Pacifico
Cacau - América Central
Banana - Possivelmente da Índia ou Sudeste Asiático
Melancia - África do Sul
Manga - Sudeste Asiático
Maracujá - América do Sul e Central (são centenas de espécies)

In Brazil we truly don’t spray small farms crops like these I’m sure 90% is organic, but they bad things is most of us buy seeds from do Santos so it’s a slippery slope you don’t know for sure if those seeds aren’t already super genetically modified

Thailand is MUCH more of a fruit paradise than Brazil. They've got everything you saw here, and a lot more - lychee, longan, langsat, rambutan, mangosteen, longkong, durian, sapodilla, snake fruit, dragon fruit, different kinds of pineapple, much better mangoes (Nam Doc Mai variety). AND everything is a lot cheaper.
Any tropical country will always have a good variety of fruits. The prices in some regions of Asia are lower than in Brazil, but the inspection of the quality of the fruits increases the price in some places in Brazil, except that this fair is in São Paulo, which has one of the most expensive prices in Brazil. Some Asian countries do not have quality or verification of origin in food products.
These fruits are not even 10% of the fruits known in Brazil, and in the North and Northeast Regions of Brazil there are many more varieties of Fruit than in the region that is São Paulo
My experience is that EVERYTHING in Brazil is more expensive. Though I was in Rio which I heard is more expensive then the rest of the country. This might be 10% of what's available, but it's precisely what I encountered in supermarkets and fruit vendors when I was there. I remember talking to a Brazilian girl about Jackfruit and she told me she only saw it once in her life. The only thing I had there which isn't available in Thailand was açai. Maybe the fruit variety is big in Brazil, but if I can't get it easily, it makes no difference.
