Even in Ramayana...it is described that Ravaana was very efficient King. Also, he was very skilled politician and Jyotishi (Astrologer). I have even read that Ravanna knew that Ram was Vishnu Avatar and if Ram kills anyone then that person will get moksh. Also, Ram after killing Ravanna did penance for 1 year because Ram regretted the fact that although Ravanna had committed crime by abducting Sita but he was also a great devotee of Mahadev.

Also, Ravana killed Surpnakha's husband. Even indians(including me) would say the same despite the fact he abducted sita ji. He performed his duties well. The only problem was he had traits of demons as his mother was a demon(acc to hindu scriptures) and father was a saint, so he had both the traits , he was evil and knowledged at the same time. As far as sita abduction goes, it was bound to happen anyway cause' rama took birth to kill him. So there was a reason that's it

It is written in Ramayana that Ravana never touched Sita. That is common knowledge in both countries. Even Ramcharitmanas and Valmiki's Ramayana say that most of the war was persecuted due to the incident of Surpanakha and the clash of belief systems between the Rakshasa and Arya. Abduction of Sita was the immediate trigger. Anyway Ravana was believed to be the most knowledgeable person in the world. The only fault he had was ego, and that was because he had been cursed with ego by a saint in a previous life and was told that he will attain moksha only if he dies during war at the hands of Lord Vishnu in human form.
He didn't touch Sita coz he had a curse on him that if he touches any woman something something bad will happen which I don't know coz I read tht on some online discussion.
@Player u Actually I read tht somewhere that in his previous life due to some misdeed done by Ravana accidentally he was punished by the Almighty and was informed that u had two options.. either be born as a negative role model in society two times or as positive role model 4 times bt in any case u won't be able to be with "Shiva". Well there's a theory that king ravan was mad because lakshman cut his sister's nose. So it was out of anger I guess he kidnapped sita , but he never touched her. It was said that because he kidnapped sita and that was a sin , he was alive till all his good karma ran out which he got from worshipping lord Shiva. And when it did lord Rama killed him. So summary eventhough you are a good person once you commited a mistake of commiting a sin against women , here kidnapping it doesn't matter if you ten heads or twenty arms , you will destined to Doom. Probably you don't know about Ravan.. He composed shiv tandav strotam.. You would have heard that in baahubali movie.. Jata katah samhbhrama.. Song. Brahmins got divided after his killing into saryuparin and kanyakubj sect.. Kanyakubj were those who were against Rama.. There are people in India who worship ravana too

Before our generation there was.. Castes within a caste(ayyar, iyangar, kanyakubja, shakyadeepi, saryuparin, etc) .. Like kanyakubj didn't marry in saryuparin and vice-versa.. There were many sects within brahmin.. They used to marry within their sect.. But now most of us don't consider all such things.. But still there are many things which are still in practice like.. I belong to katyayan gotra.. I can't marry a katyayan girl.. Gotra is like a clan.. All katyayan girls would be considered my sister...katyayan was a sage.. It is same thing that you find within the tribes... In pashtuns, there are many tribes.. Although they belong to same region but there is inter clan rivalry... Same is with nagaland tribes.. And such inter sect rivalries were common in every caste. If you neglect religion you can find many similarities in entire region.

The British did a successful job of isolating and destroying Indian history of more than 15,000 years ago.

And after the incident, Rambha's wreaths were broken, the ornaments she was wearing were shattered and she suffered from anxiety. Ravana after "raping" Rambha left her there and leave. Maharishi Valmiki writes that her condition had become such that a vine had been shaken by the wind. Her makeup was in disarray and her body was trembling.
That's why God Vishnu had to descend on earth to save the womén & humankind from the so called King Ravana.
And if he did not touched Mata Sita then how could he kidnapped her and dragged her forcefully on his flying carrier without her consent when she was crying for HELP ?? I wonder how does such kind of character been considered as a great King and not evil?! 😑

Even indians(including me) would say the same despite the fact he abducted sita ji. He performed his duties well. It is written in Ramayana that Ravana never touched Sita. That is common knowledge in both countries. Even Ramcharitmanas and Valmiki's Ramayana say that most of the war was persecuted due to the incident of Surpanakha and the clash of belief systems between the Rakshasa and Arya. Abduction of Sita was the immediate trigger. Anyway Ravana was believed to be the most knowledgeable person in the world. The only fault he had was ego, and that was because he had been cursed with ego by a saint in a previous life and was told that he will attain moksha only if he dies during war at the hands of Lord Vishnu in human form.
He didn't touch Sita coz he had a curse on him that if he touches any woman something something bad will happen which I don't know coz I read tht on some online discussion.

If you follow this rule, you can save not only yourself but many other people from being damaged
Ravana also toldd Lakshman about politics and statesmanship:
1- Do not be the enemy of your charioteer, your gatekeeper, your cook and your brother, they can harm you anytime.
2- Do not think you are always a winner, even if you are winning all the time.
3- Always trust the minister, who criticises you.
4-Never think your enemy Is small or powerless, like I thought about Hanuman
5- Never think you can outsmart the stars, they will bring you what you are destined to
6- Either love or hate God, but both should be immense and strong.
7-A king who is eager to win glory must suppress greed as soon as it lifts its head.
8-A king must welcome the smallest chance to do good to others, without the slightest procrastination.

Well there's a theory that king ravan was mad because lakshman cut his sister's nose. So it was out of anger I guess he kidnapped sita , but he never touched her. It was said that because he kidnapped sita and that was a sin , he was alive till all his good karma ran out which he got from worshipping lord Shiva. And when it did lord Rama killed him. So summary eventhough you are a good person once you commited a mistake of commiting a sin against women , here kidnapping it doesn't matter if you ten heads or twenty arms , you will destined to Doom.

Brahmins got divided after his killing into saryuparin and kanyakubj sect.. Kanyakubj were those who were against Rama.. There are people in India who worship ravana too

Buddhism was spread there during ashoka time.. Ashoka was too a kshatriya.. You can still find their name containing words which mean they are from kshatriya clan(rantunga, senanayke, wicramsinghe) if you're an indian, you can easily relate to these things.. Sinhali sounds more sanskrit compared to hindi.. They got to know about ravana from hindu epic ramayana.. And to create a nationalistc view, historians play with history.. So they fed with lies.. Just like aryan thing of Germany. After killing ravana.. Rama want to wash his sin.. (he had killed a Brahmin) so he want to perform yagaya(a kind of worship using fire).. Brahmins declined his request.. Some brahmins of kashi accepted and went to perform yagya.. So, those brahmins were expelled by brahmin community.. So they pleaded to lord rama.. He made them settle on the other side of saryu river.. They came to be known as saryuparin brahmins.. I'm myself a saryuparin..
Before our generation there was.. Castes within a caste(ayyar, iyangar, kanyakubja, shakyadeepi, saryuparin, etc) .. Like kanyakubj didn't marry in saryuparin and vice-versa.. There were many sects within brahmin.. They used to marry within their sect.. But now most of us don't consider all such things.. But still there are many things which are still in practice like.. I belong to katyayan gotra.. I can't marry a katyayan girl.. Gotra is like a clan.. All katyayan girls would be considered my sister...katyayan was a sage.. It is same thing that you find within the tribes... In pashtuns, there are many tribes.. Although they belong to same region but there is inter clan rivalry... Same is with nagaland tribes.. And such inter sect rivalries were common in every caste. If you neglect religion you can find many similarities in entire region.
