Excellent, I just headed there and read the article on her, fantastic. She deserves to be a featured artist, just as Ale is with Specter, now we just need Pau to become one too, if she isn't already.
All I’m gonna say about this performance is Dany is passion, Dany is hope, Dany is life 💕🤟🔥
I can think of only one other reactor who caught that stick drop. The recovery was so smooth and that fill just before it was one of her patented epic fills, one that doesn't get much appreciation in my view.
And Pau has mad multi-tasking skills. At the opening of their song Sinister Smiles at Atypical Fest 2019, she started the song which just had kick drum in the beginning. She then managed to take her shoes and socks off, switching feet on the kick pedals while doing this. And was singing at the same time.
I was thinking of that same shoes and socks thing myself. Another example is when she lost a stick and just hit the cymbal with her hand until she could get another one.

@@NoSmokingDogs I remember Pau taking off her shoes and socks while singing the intro to Survive during their first gig at the Whisky in 2018. There should be a fan made video of this which is still online.

There’s video out there where Pau lost a stick, continued to hit with her bare hand, then switched the stick to her other hand so she could grab a new stick…and didn’t miss a beat!

I’ve seen that video but the story where she hit her hand on a drum rim and was in tears thinking she wouldn’t be able to finish the set. Swollen hand and pain be damned. She finished the set.

Stalker is one of my favorite TW songs. This live version fits perfectly into the theme of the album's storyline. Dany leaves it all on the stage. Epic performance.

I love Pau and all her showwomanship. I'm literally waiting for her to break her sticks. This happens to her more often. Which is no wonder how she smashes the drums.
For Pau, all this is already a habit. She can handle it.
Well noticed when Pau broke or dropped the stick , many people miss that . This venue took it's toll on the girls , over 2 hours at 7300 ft is very difficult and Dany was struggling for breath and Ale had to be practically carried off as she was totally exhausted .Cheers David .
I love it when Dany and or Ale play the piano, but I love it even more when Pau plays it. I heard "common", there's nothing common about the Warning, they're so unique. If you were wondering why Dany's voice sounds a bit winded, it's because Lunario is over 7,000 feet in elevation, less air, they still gave an amazing performance. 🥰

This show was Mexico City (high altitude). Dany's intro and outro are the stand outs. Thanks!
It's pretty common for Pau to break sticks. Some just crack but she is so adept at carrying on that a lot of people don't notice. Having seen the condition of her sticks after a show they often look pretty rough.
BTW, this show at Lunario was the first time they played their entire concept album QOTMS live. They also played several of their older songs also so it was a pretty long concert. From their vlogs they talked about how they had to write filler songs without them feeling like filler songs. The album started basically as several murders and a lot of blood. They toned it back a bit. It also impresses me knowing that Pau was also controlling the video display behind her. You might be happy to know that Pau and Dany both say Ale is the best piano player of the three. You are also correct about the elevation. Lunario is at Mexico City and sits at about 7300 feet above sea level.
David - Have you seen this video of Ale recovering from a broken strap? Actually, she pulled the pin right out of the thing. They are playing in New York City for the first time. The song is Sinister Smiles. A few seconds in to the song, she has the bass loose in her hand. She drops to a knee, and keeps playing. She has the tech guy bring her a stool, then asks him to bring over the mic. She played and sang like nothing happened. Anyone who is used to watch your videos I don't think would take your laughs as something offensive towards the artist, I've always seen you being very respectful with all of them, whether you liked or disliked their performance.
But as you say, Pau changing the drumstick without missing a single beat is to highlight and applaud, I'm not a musician, but I think it's necessary to have a very good concentration capacity to do something like that ;)

I knew you weren't making fun of Pau at all. I remember watching them play Survive at TedX for the first time and she broke her stick and just kept the tempo without flinching and it floored me, now I just expect it cuz it happens so often. Dany was really in character as the murder queen in this song with her facial expressions and the way she was singing, she went all in like Heath Ledger did as the joker. I can't always hear bass in hard rock/metal songs but I could easily hear Ale's bass driving every song on Queen of the Murder Scene.

In their presentation in Rockville Pau broke a stick and kept playing until find a spare stick (as always) . she is so strong in the beat that is common that she break a stick at least. the drums ends with notchs (see carefully in TEDex Unmendable)

Da..ng Dave ( I promised you I'd cut down on my coarse words ) all the times I've watched this video, I never noticed Pau's stick drop until you mentioned it! Shows how spot on your observation was! They are scary good now, What they'll become is exciting.
What attracted me to The Warning was how much passion these three put into their music! Dany, buy becoming the character, She sells the the song! With out it, the song(s) would be less than they are. Another good reaction brother! Looking forward to seeing you and Mrs. H back on the tube! And, yes, Lunario is in Mexico city and at 3,700 ft. altitude.

@@carlnietoweise4653 We were in Mexico City maybe 20 years ago. One day I worked out in the gym on the rowing machine (ergometer) at a time when I could typically do about 220 watts for 30 minutes. I was more like 170 watts in the thin air. That was even though we had acclimated for a day or two in Tasco (around 5000') and it wasn't my first day there. It's not high enough for most people to get altitude sickness, but it is high enough that you'll notice if you're doing any aerobic activity.

By far the most IMPRESSIVE example of Pau dropping a stick to me was in Argentina Live at Rosario. At the 2:30 mark...Literally drops stick, can't reach it, and switches remaining to other hand while singing intense part of Dust to Dust. This is 1 of my favs off QOTMS. The Foro DiDi concert was better, but this 1 was their 1st time playing the new album. Dani got winded because of the elevation, but still a great performance. This is a song that it'll be a rare treat to hear live again, since they have so many new (er) songs on tap! I'm hoping to see them next month in Chicago, which will be my 1st time doing so, though I've been a fan for many yrs!

Now you can imagine, don't be surprised that in less than 10 years they are already closing concerts and not the most famous ones, let's say the average ones or also some small concert and that rock groups before they open and they obviously close the concerts, and they will soon be the main event of the most famous concerts, I hope I'm not wrong,
but at the rate they are generating many views on the different platforms, they are gaining more followers (myself included) and perhaps also appearing at the most famous television events such as Mtv Awards, Grammys Awards, People's Choice Awards, etc, etc.

Right now opening concerts is good for them; it gets them more exposure. It sounds like they picked up a lot of new fans at Las Vegas, people who went to see Dirty Honey or MammothWVH, only to see a trio of Mexican sisters steal the show. The Foo Fighters gig next week is good, although it's on their home turf so they'll probably have a lot of fans here. A lot of people on the Mayday tour will probably be existing TW fans; I'm only going to one concert, but there are plenty of people talking about going to 4 or 5, so they may not have as much opportunity to get the word out.
STALKER, WHAT A GOOD INTERPRETATION OF DANI, BEAUTIFUL PIANO NOTES, EXCELLENT CONTENT, TW THE BEST ROCK OF 2022
I don't particularly like this song, but that's because I don't like horror. This is a vampire love song. At the end of the song, Dany is singing to the corpse of the person of the Queen's desire. Dany really shows her chops fronting the band -- she's not simply singing, playing guitar and piano, she's acting a role to perfection.
That was certainly not the first time Pau has broken/dropped a stick -- she broke one at TEDx on Survive. Same kind of recovery. When you pay attention on that one, you can see she misses a few snare or tom hits while fetching a new one, but keeps perfect time on the cymbals with her right hand. Professionalism, yes, big time. It reminds me of a concert I was at about 30 years ago, the Beethoven violin concerto with a very famous, older soloist (I don't remember his name). He missed a note. He looked completely disgusted and I heard him say something. The conductor turned to him and it looked like told him to shut up. He had probably been playing professionally for longer than the sum of their ages at this point. A young woman -- Pau was 16, but I just can't call her a girl -- probably 1/4 his age just schooled him on how to behave professionally. They're very nice people by all accounts, but they have a hard, unyielding side to them such that nothing will stand in their way.
Difficult to take a song out of the context and to react on it as a standalone song. "Stalker" is part of the CONCEPT album "Queen of the Murder Scene" and fits best into the whole story. Look in Dany's face! She is in the character completely. Discussions on best song, or not - it doesn't count here. "Stalker" was not written to win a competition but it's suits to the COMPLETE concept album, which is at least a 8.8.

There are a few videos that show Ale handling bass problems, such as the strap coming loose or no sound.
