One of endearing characteristic of SB19 members, and why they have a growing following, is their relatability. They have the same struggles as any ordinary people and they translate this to their songs. They learn from past mistakes, strive to improve and explore to top their previous releases. That's what made them such inspirations.
I agree! Even biological brothers/siblings who came from the same parents, grew up in the same environment and live under the same roof have differences and do not get along all the time. This is true for any group development: forming, storming, norming, performing, adjourning. Every group whether it's a family, in class, at work, among friends, etc. experience these struggles and them being all raw and real about these is what makes them even more relatable to many fans.
They are really down to earth.. my daughter does RV and she's a fan.. she went to see them come into LA airport for the WYAT tour.. when Pablo saw her he smiled and said "You're the crying girl" from her reaction to "MAPA"
I think what they were trying to say about not totally clicking is that because they have different personalities and opinions they argue a lot specially creatively. However, the good thing is that they are all willing to compromise for the sake of the group and make sure everyone's side is being heard. In Justin's letter to Pablo before, he once mentioned that they always argue but the good thing is that their arguments are always logical. Also, they have different sets of interests and friends, so they seldom hang out with each other outside of work. Regardless, they sure have respect and love for each other and have mentioned in the past that they're more like brothers. In real life, we don't necessarily hang out with our siblings but we know that we will always have each other's back so I guess that is also how it works for them. However in some of their social media posts you can see that Justin and Stell often hangs out. One time Pablo even tagged along on their out of town trip. And then Ken and Pablo sometimes goes out together with other people. Of course it's no secret that Stell and Josh have been friends the longest. Not clicking doesn't necessarily mean they are at odds with each other, for them I guess it means they don't usually agree and jive on things but they do have a good relationship. They also mentioned that their recent tour brought them closer to each other. And they have also mentioned a lot of times what SB19 and the members mean to them which like brothers or family.
That's what I thought of the "don't really clicked" mean... As Pablo mentioned in one of their WYAT US Tour interview: "The bad thing is having every member has a different personality, and the good thing is having each member with a different personality" as well... bottom line is each of them might be different but they're Brothers who have so much respect and care with one another... their actions, camaraderies and how they speak with each other shows it all.. (anyway every interviews they had were never boring coz you can feel their authenticity aside from them being so funny at times)
The reason they are open and is themselves there was a statement before from their Korean management that they allowed them to be as genuine as they are, unlike the traditional management style other companies does
To the question on how they handle bashers, it broke my heart when Ken said "we just cry". Altho' it was said in jest, we all know that it's true. They were affected and broke down at one point. It's just good that they have each other to lean on.
Shout out to you Ms. Lyra. Whoever you are, wherever you are, we A'tin are very thankful for what you did to SB19. If it's not because of you maybe we didn't recognize sb19 as sb19 today. Thank you for being one of an instrument to SB19 for them to not giving up their dreams. You gave them hope. Mahal ka ng Lima❣️. They remembered your name. 'Cause you really touched their hearts 💕
They may say that they didn't click but their actions speak otherwise. They're like brothers and it's very evident when they perform, during interviews and in other past SB19 videos. They all have good chemistry and they respect each other even if they sometimes like to pull pranks on each other.
I think what they are trying to say is that they are friends/brothers but they really don't clicked in a way that they are very different in their characteristics, personalities, hobbies and etc..They have the same passion w/c is MUSIC and they bonded but they still have their own personal space. W/c i think is very good on their mental health.
It's true, their actions speak otherwise. Well, action speaks louder than words they say. From what we've witnessed, they seem to treat each other like family.
Their chemistry is so synched that their differences seem complementary to each and the whole group. Based on their dynamics and stories, they appear destined to be together.
Although they get along pretty well now, you can still sense some awkwardness from time to time not because they don't like each other (they actually love each other so much and their chemistry on stage is impeccable) but because they have very different personalities and interests. But we could say all the 4 members are close to Stell because he's the only extrovert in the group like he's the mood setter/ice breaker/life of the party (I swear that dude needs to be in a comedy show of his own). Everyone seems to put their guard down around Stell.
Their being unscripted, unfiltered, candid, honest and sincere in interviews is really amazing. Not just in interviews, in just about any occasion they're in front of the camera.

For me at first I was surprised when Pablo said they’re still working on it in terms of clicking as a group, that made me think. In reality if you think about it, us human have issues big or small. Wow amazing reasoning I am Filipino, at first I was also shocked about the Power of KPOP in my country 😂well Filipinos is great in adapting and Koreans is our brothers.
Hey josh! i've been waiting the whole day for this 2nd part... Its really great to see how close they are now and it manifest in their performances. Pablo even included a line in their song WYAT how he missed the presence of the other boys during the covid lockdown.
The group were you'll never feel scared of the idea of disbandment or a member leaving the group The bond and the brotherhood they have and connection is too strong that no problem and personality differences can separate them
You're right. The humbleness, down-to-earth, true people on screen and off screen, seeing them just like a normal person, makes us A'tin loved and all out support SB19.
One of the things that fans always rave about these boys is their chemistry. Some were probably confused when they said in this interview that they haven't clicked until now. Coz they get along so well in being crackheads and poking fun at each other; their chemistry when performing together is remarkable, and they're very comfortable with skinship. And they really love each other. But thinking about it, it could be things like not clicking with their creative ideas coz they are very different from each other in terms of personality, music preferences, and artistry. And I imagine, if they were coworkers or classmates, they would each belong to a different circle of friends coz they're just really different from each other. That's why we see them hanging out with their own set of friends outside of SB19. But if anything, from everything we have seen, their camaraderie and love for each other is so palpable it feels so good as a fan. One of my fave moments in one of their interviews was when Pablo said: “I don’t have that many friends. I can count them with my fingers, and I keep them close and I love them very much. And with SB19, they are really one of the people I consider family that I truly love, I’d do anything for them.”
I remember something.. Ben&Ben, a folk rock band SB19 collaborated w/ twice now, always said in interviews that what they admire about the boys is their love for each other. They also talked about how they witnessed the boys' chemistry, noting how quickly and easily the boys knew and agreed who would get which lines of the song.
What Pablo said is really touching! True friends are quite hard to find. Do you remember in what interview Pablo said that? It seems like I haven't watched that yet. 🥺
I think something that would really interest you is their WYAT making film series, it gives a lot of insight on how involved they are with the production of their songs and music videos
I think SB19 does get along, it's very evident in their vlogs, Showbreaks, behind the scenes videos, etc. What I like about their relationships with each other is that you can see that they care a lot about each member but they show it in their own way and their interactions aren't forced. They treat each other like brothers, like you love your siblings and care for them but you don't necessarily want to spend all of your free time with them. And your personalities might not be similar/compatible and you might not get along all the time. SB19 keeping it real, y'all 💙
Exactly - "their interactions aren't forced"! They're free to express their individualities within the group! I think they've even become closer since WYAT era.
I think the question may have gotten lost in translation - they have a different definition or idea of "clicked" than what Americans do. I did notice though that Ken doesn't really hang out with them outside of work. It's usually Justin and Stell or Justin, Stell, and Josh and occasionally Pablo based on Justin's vlogs. Justin has the most videos on his personal UA-cam channel and it's so great how he lets you see his vulnerability and simplicity. Ken didn't go with them to Siargao and Batangas. Ken was not there when the pets were all hanging out together. Stell and Ken probably work out together. They don't really hang out as a complete group outside work. You can see that they do have a bond because of what they went through together. They're more like brothers rather than bestfriends. Justin and Pablo are more of the intellectual creative types and that's why they argue more about their ideas but in a logical manner. Justin really looks up to Pablo as a mentor since Pablo really helped him during their trainee days and Pablo's brain is just full of knowledge. And although Justin is the youngest, he's very responsible (and super organized) compared to some of the older members. He also comes from a more affluent background compared to the other members (for non-Filipinos: the college that Justin and his older brother Yani graduated from is very expensive (still way cheaper than most US universities) and is probably one of the most expensive in the Philippines - think of it like a USC). In their interview with The Juans, he shared how he empathized with his groupmates' struggles and it made him recognize his privilege and appreciate his blessings in life. The other guys' struggles inspired him not to give up. In one of his vlogs where he hung out with three of The Juans band members, he opened up about his struggles as an introvert in a very extroverted industry. You can really sense his depth. Justin does a lot of introspection in this episode as well as the travel episodes. He may be the quiet and shyest one, but he shares the most about himself and his thoughts/values in his vlogs. He's not a flashy person.
@@bargainhuntermama I agree with the lost in the translation part. For Filipinos, "clicking" with another person usually means having a strong personal connection with them, kind of like having them as one of your closest friends. But I think what Zach means about "clicking" is like being able to work together efficiently as a group, which is something SB19 is already great at. Also, when Justin, Pablo, and Stell went to Batangas, I think that was the time when Ken shot Bulan in Ilocos and when Josh went to EK with Niana and AC. I'm not 100% sure though! Someone correct me if I'm wrong 💙
@@jaycari also just want to add that Ken didn't go to Siargao with them because his grandfather got sick and he had to go back to his hometown instead. But yeah, I agree with the lost in translation thing and I don't think it's a bad thing that they don't all hang out with each other all the time.
It is a once-in-lifetime encounter of 5 amazing, talented, humble boys. They support each other and is now a solid band of brothers. We should support them all the way as they carve the successful music international path for Filipinos. Watch their early vlogs as they documented their training and even fun stuff. They’re so funny and relatable❤
Their humility & brotherhood is amazingly admirable. Indeed, their interviews is very raw, direct & that's one of the reason I like in them. No pretentions at all. Heck Justin even uploaded a vlog of him, Josh & Stell being tipsy together with their staffs but didn't make any big deal despite of them being ambassadors of NCCA PH. Hehe Hopefully you will check out their KwentuJuan Ep 5 & 6 too together with Lucas. PS. Felip/Ken just released #ROCKSTA MV an intro song for his COMPLEX EP Album. Hope you can react to it when you return from your vacay. 😊
I think what sb19 unique from other group is that, u can see that they are more open and free to talk anything is that they are not solely rely on Thier company, as an A'tin we know that they can do everything by Thier own and that's one thing that we love them, like they are not like an idol like a product that can be displayed but they are more than that, they freely do what they want in terms of Thier what music genre they want to release.
Thanks to Sir Charles Though the company wasn't owned by Tatang anymore He still didn't tighten his hold to SB19 He gives them creative freedom and to show who they really are I think this company and CEO is what PPOP industry needed for ppop to grow and ppop artists/groups to find who they really are as a group and as an artist What makes me amazed is the bond they have with the people who works for them They don't treat them as an employee that needs to be blurred in videos but as friends/family That's humanity That's SB19
@@eliem2563 I'm am super agree kaps, I think Thier company policy is to give more in terms of music genre,it's more on they are free to explore by Thier own, which is a good thing.
SB19 members are so genuine, that's one thing I love about them. They are so real and unfiltered. Thank you GKD for appreciating them. Your RVs are insightful. Been loving this channel.
What I love about them is they're not trying to sugarcoat something just to like by the people. They let people see their vulnerability and that's make me feel I'm not alone that they're sharing this not so good world with me. Also they like trying to send a message that "We are artists, but we are human before that".
I think what they mean when they said they didn’t click is, creatively, or in making music, they had a lot of adjustments to make. It was mentioned by Pablo in some interviews that the arguments that they have normally is about music or choreography. But outside of work, they are really close, Stell and Justin or sometimes with other members always play badminton together. They also used to always play online games while streaming. And in a lot of their vlogs and contents, they always hug and show skinship showing how comfortable they are with each other.
if im not mistaken, because of the pandemic they all need to stay in one place and its hard and new for them to be staying together night and day for weeks that it made them sick with each other, but then when they are apart they missed being together, and that the tour made them closer
There’s an interview where they were asked about their first impressions of one another. It also has subtitles. I saw a clip of it in Cashual Chuck’s docuseries. Maybe he can give you the link to the source material. Or maybe other A’tin know which interview I’m referring to?
Hi Josh and Luke. Please react to/watch Rolling Stone’s interview with SB19(July 2021). That one’s so fun and the members were so chaotic (funny chaotic) with everyone singing the songs they picked for every question.

Thank you so much for another reaction of SB19 I like the way you react our mahalima boys
That's what we love about sb19. They are so raw and athentic.
@@lepunksmoothie I agree! I really love that they aren't forced to be in a mold and that they can be their true selves on and off cam.
Done watching!! It's good you have learned more something about the boys..waiting for the next part again! Enjoy your vacation!😊🖒
Their interview with Rolling Stone showed how diverse their music preferences are. You may also want to react to that. ❤
Starting liking this reactor.thank you Sir
Thank you Josh😊can‘t wait for the next one😊❤
Nice, not a day gap of waiting. 😁
Wow. Nice. Thanks for the RV. 💙
Hello Josh.
Enjoy your vacation and keep safe.
Love lots from 🇵🇭💙
Ken has dropped his latest Rocksta. Fantastic
Thanks for this RV. Waiting for Part 3.
Thank you for supporting SB19 ❤️
I think what sb19 unique from other group is that, u can see that they are more open and free to talk anything is that they are not solely rely on Thier company, as an A'tin we know that they can do everything by Thier own and that's one thing that we love them, like they are not like an idol like a product that can be displayed but they are more than that, they freely do what they want in terms of Thier what music genre they want to release.
Thanks to Sir Charles
Though the company wasn't owned by Tatang anymore
He still didn't tighten his hold to SB19
He gives them creative freedom and to show who they really are
I think this company and CEO is what PPOP industry needed for ppop to grow and ppop artists/groups to find who they really are as a group and as an artist
What makes me amazed is the bond they have with the people who works for them
They don't treat them as an employee that needs to be blurred in videos but as friends/family
That's humanity
That's SB19
@@eliem2563 I'm am super agree kaps, I think Thier company policy is to give more in terms of music genre,it's more on they are free to explore by Thier own, which is a good thing.
Always waiting for the next part!! ❤️❤️😊
You might want to check out the Making of SB19 WYAT MV. Watch how they work hard to make WYAT MV happened. amazing talents!*
love SB19 forever❤️
I love your review
In this interview.
New subscriber here, thank you for reacting to SB19.
Love from the Philippines. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
thank you again josh for this rv.
Cant wait part 3....👍
Thank you for reacting and caring for SB19💕✨💕✨ you can try reacting to their Rolling Stones interview, they had so much fun✨🤩✨🤩
Thanks sir josh!😊♥️🇵🇭 SLMT next reaction video🙏 that is one if their song "SLMT" or Salamat in tagalog means 'Thank You'
3:05 I think they were just joking about that haha, that's peak Filipino humor.
Keep safe everyone, spread love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
SLMT po, GKD!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙
But all love to hard working people and to my countrymen. I love you kabayans!
So authentic ❤️❤️
Waiting for Part 3😁
Can’t wait for the part 3
Tnx a lot
Thanks😊
Their birthday lives were chaotic 😆
Sb19 speaking English 😎💪🇵🇭
Rolling Stone interview was more fun, like you can really see a different side of their brotherhood haha
SLMT for the RV
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I like your background music..
Seems like zach is sleepy😊
SB19 struggles are so relatable😭
They owned the company now..
SLMT ALWAYS
if im not mistaken, because of the pandemic they all need to stay in one place and its hard and new for them to be staying together night and day for weeks that it made them sick with each other, but then when they are apart they missed being together, and that the tour made them closer
actually they said they didn't clicked but they do and value each other so much
Thank you, Josh. Please consider watching KwentoJuan episodes 5 and 6. It has english subtitles.
😍😍😍😍😍
Rocksta by: felip suson
There’s an interview where they were asked about their first impressions of one another. It also has subtitles. I saw a clip of it in Cashual Chuck’s docuseries. Maybe he can give you the link to the source material. Or maybe other A’tin know which interview I’m referring to?
It's this one: ua-cam.com/video/OV6GQINrRas/v-deo.html Agree that it's a great interview too

Hi Josh and Luke. Please react to/watch Rolling Stone’s interview with SB19(July 2021). That one’s so fun and the members were so chaotic (funny chaotic) with everyone singing the songs they picked for every question.
I really enjoyed your reaction to this. Hope you can also react to the" WHAT the making" or "SIMON SERVIDA PRODUSING WHAT", 😁
Part 3 please😭
Please also checkout KwentoJuan Ep 5&6 by the Juans .... Thanks 😊
Waiting for the next episode.. although i’ve watched this interview countless of times i still want to see your take on it .. its just so sad that lucas is not with you😢😊❤🎉🎉
Hello 🤗
Fun interview yet raw and honest. Thank you Josh for this. You might also wanna check out their Rolling Stone interview... Its soooo much much more fun than this IMHO! More informative on matters of their musical inclination.
