Awesome episode brother. Looks so peaceful and quiet out there.. nothing but the wind and the burros I guess 😊. I love that you pay so much respect to our nation's flag.. thank you 🙏

Thank you brother! Apart from all of the propaganda they are trying to push on us to forget and dishonor this country will not happen. We are truly blessed to have a beautiful country and be proud! to be an American.

Enjoying your videos. Did my first trip to DVNP via Briggs back in August 2008 going the opposite direction you traveled. We were at the overlook where you had your ham and cheese and I asked what we were looking at...the response...DEATH VALLEY! Fell in love with the area. That year Rita's Cabin had cicada carcasses all over the place. Definitely a unique experience. Few years later I went up again via Pleasant Canyon and got my first pin stripes in the pines above World Beater. Great memories from trips in the Panamint Range.
Please be mindful of flying drones within the park boundary. Too often people post up drone videos in the park which leads others to do the same. Fortunately Briggs is outside the park.

I drove up Pleasant Canyon road and it was in real bad shape last year with large ruts, washout’s, mudslides segments overtaking the trail. Middle Park is a beautiful place. Cheers!

Another awesome adventure! Thanks for sharing man! Just curious but which rear bumper are you running? I’m digging your setup with your camp stove on your swing out. Rear bumper is next on my list after front and rear axle regear on my 80.

Thank you. The rear bumper is an original Kaymar bumper from the 90’s. Not sure if they make them anymore. The fold out table is made by Rock Slide made for a Jeep JK, all I did was fab up some mount brackets. It turned out great, I like it because it folds up really thin. Cheers

Wow! What a great trip! Curious to know how you were driving HI/Lo gear or ever have to lock any of the lockers. What is your navigation source out on those trials?

Thank you. Typically I will engage 4hi on minor climbs with loose gravel roads/trails. I tend to remain on 4hi while climbing depending on terrain severity you have to be In tune with what your truck is doing or struggling with. In the back of my mind I’m thinking about all of the extra gear I’m carrying so I take that into consideration as well. 4LO for steep climbs, decent, steep loose terrain, rock gardens or any severe strain on your drivetrain. I’m constantly observing the transmission temperature gauge. On moderate to severe terrain, If the trans reaches 200 degrees I’m gonna engage the truck in 4lo slow down and take it easy. Having an electric fan on your trans cooler does help. In the scene where I was off camber and went for it I had both lockers engaged, I needed all the traction necessary it was like wheeling on marbles. I will use the rear locker on steep decents because it tends to keep the truck pointing in the direction you want it to go. As far as navigation goes, I like to use Gaia GPS. Cheers!
