Good stuff. That Inferno artwork is amazing! A really great spaghetti western is The Great Silence, I actually put it right up there with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
Zombie flesh eaters was not one of the first arrow releases by a long long shot. It took them a long time to even get that from be released. They did release dawn and day of the dead long before that. The very first arrow release was House by the cemetery on DVD back in 2009ish.
The Battles Without Honor and Humanity box set is the only Arrow release I own - Japanese cinema is irresistible to me. I have a lot of Arrow titles from different (non-Arrow) releases and I spent a huge amount of my money buying used DVDs, VHS, and Beta tapes. I don't even own a blu-ray player yet and still have a 2004 projection tv. My goal has been to amass selection. I've tried to duplicate the choice that would have been available in a large, privately owned video store. I'm approaching 16,000 titles so mission accomplished I guess. I always enjoy your videos and your impressive collection. The fun thing about the major movie collectors on UA-cam is the diversity of their collections. Happy hunting!
+Rob Mann Yea, Battles without honor set is the one thing I really need in my collection. it sounds like u have tons of titles yourself, thanks for watching!
I just started getting into Arrow so I don't have too many yet but I do have the limited edition "Society" Bluray and I'm glad I did cause I think I got one of the last ones before it went out of print and the film is awesome, but my favorite is the "Coffy" bluray. I love that movie and was waiting for a special edition and it didn't dissapoint. I want to pick up "Beyond the Valley of the Dollls" which just came out and has a lot of special features and I also want "House by the Cemetery" cause I'm really starting to get into Italian cinema. Great vid, great collection!
+Nightwalker Hells yea man, its cool to have the special edition of movies you love, like with you and Coffy that was the same with me and Delta Force, i could of easily picked it up here at walmart for 5 bucks or I could import the Arrow Badass edition and get tons of special features. House by the Cemetery is definitely on my list to grab, next arrow sale maybe, thanks for watching
Always surprises me how many non movie and genre fans collect these Arrow blu rays and dvds just for the collectability reasons. I have no interest in music so I dont go collecting vinyl and cds etc. But I find it bizarre people just collecting something the obviously have no care for or knowledge of.
I think it's because each one has a fantastic cover art, and each are foreign films and will probably never be watched. So owning something cool like that is well... Cool
Great video awesome collection I love Arrow Video they're the best blu ray releasing company today no doubt. But you had one of the best Arrow steelbooks right behind you in the intro.Big Trouble in Little China lol. You must have forgotten to mentioned it lol. Great video though I watch you all the time keep up the good work!
Hey man! I've been collecting Blu Rays for a few years. I'm really into Arrow, Scream/Shout Factory, Criterion and a few others who release obscure/quirky movies I love. With your experience, have all of your Region B Arrow BRs played in Region A? It seems like they list their euro released movies as Region B but they still seem to play in Region A anyway. Have all of yours worked in Region A?
Great collection dude. I'm favourite are released in my collection are the hell raiser box set and hell comes to frog town and the big trouble in little China steelbook.
+Jambo Shango & The Randy Mole's Movie Show yea, I also have the arrow video's "big trouble in little china" that I didnt include in this vid because its with my John Carpenter Collection that I forgot to look at lol
This is a sweet collection. I've just started collecting Arrow Video Blu Rays because I only recently managed to find a region free blu ray player. So far I have Maniac Cop, Inferno, Sheba Baby, and Pray for Death. Sad that I missed out on all the limited editions they put out in the last year or so. Did you see that Arrow is releasing their first book next month? It's a limited edition and looks pretty cool.
Great video and collection, arrow video are so great to collect, you got to check out deadly outlaw rekka, one of my fave Japanese gangster films, you have a few I still ain't picked up yet and need to get on 2, the box sets are getting better and better and now I have some U.S only titles I need to import:-) great video again buddy :-)
Your collection is very impressive. I have a question though: some of these titles are available on Criterion blu ray. Is there some reason you chose these versions instead? They can't be much cheaper than the Criterions (come B&N sale time). I'm guessing it's for collecting purposes.
Nice collection, I've always wanted to pick a couple of these, they have fantastic art work but damn are they pricey like 30 bucks a pop? Looks great though honestly
They are pricey if youre paying full price, but Arrow makes incredible Blu Rays. Their transfers are top notch. I think they basically do a better transfer if a good one doesn't exist already. Or if the existing one is mediocre then it seems they do a 4k scan nowadays. Have never been disappointed with their stuff.
Help me out !!: can you tell me what the American release number of city of the dead (gates of Hell is) everything I’ve ordered comes with the av### 😫they’ve thrown me for a loop with a FCD### Where’s it supposed to go !?! 😫
Are you getting the upcoming releases of Argento's Phenomena and Bird With the Crystal Plumage? They're limited edition box sets and looks awesome releases!
Great collection! Finally got a region-free blu-ray player, so I can get some of those region-locked releases!
the only bad thing of Arrow is that UGLY europe parental logos
they cant help it so i dont hold it against them
Irish person here (the blue ones are the Irish film board), don't have any problem with them.
I love them xD
Excellent collection; thanks for sharing.
Good stuff. That Inferno artwork is amazing! A really great spaghetti western is The Great Silence, I actually put it right up there with The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
+Infametheus I have the DVD of The Great Silence, honestly i wasnt too impressed with it, cheers!
+Logan Toxic missing three more movies The Beyond, The House By The Cemetery and City of the Living Dead. Arrow release.
amazing arrow collection ... lot of these are even quite rare now
Zombie flesh eaters was not one of the first arrow releases by a long long shot. It took them a long time to even get that from be released. They did release dawn and day of the dead long before that. The very first arrow release was House by the cemetery on DVD back in 2009ish.

Utterly fantastic

I think it's because each one has a fantastic cover art, and each are foreign films and will probably never be watched. So owning something cool like that is well... Cool

Arrow has better extras, box art and usually better video masters.
Nice collection. You should check out the Deep Red release. Great package and film.

This is amazing! What on earth do you do for a living to afford this?
Wall Street Broker
That was my thought, too. I have a decent collection, but not one blind purchase.
Help me out !!: can you tell me what the American release number of city of the dead (gates of Hell is) everything I’ve ordered comes with the av###
