- Alabama Football recruiting news was filled with plenty of top 2025 recruits making their official visits to Tuscaloosa this weekend including SMU QB commit Keelon Russell who the Tide have been pushing hard for in recent weeks. Andrew Bone of On3’s BamaOnline reported that Alabama is also only looking to add 1-2 more WRs to Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class along with current Alabama WR commit Lotzier Brooks. Some of Alabama’s top WR targets include Derek Meadows, Caleb Cunningham and Quincy Porter. Kalen DeBoer and Kane Wommack are also pushing for Mater Dei High School CB Chuck McDonald.

“There has been a lot more attention on players such as Derek Meadows, Caleb Cunningham and now even Quincy Porter. We could possibly see another WR decide to visit. Alabama likes (Marcus) Harris, but I think he will focus on the schools showing the most attention. Georgia is a top contender, but they are also taking more WRs in the class according to our friends at DawgsHQ.”

Meadows by far!! This young man is going to be something else. He is BIG-TIME Fast. Plus he is a legit 6"6 ,LONG,and can really catch it!!...Did I say long?....I cannot begin to explain this young man's upside. I like CCunningham also. But not NEARLY as much as Meadows. CC is a nice WR. Reminds me a LOT of JaCorey Brooks,in that BOTH lacked elite wheels.
I like Derrick Smith better than Cunningham as an explosive and talented WR..I still believe he will play as a FS,a SS,or the Nickel(Husky....But he could get on the field for anyone offensely in America,and soon....
It is IMPOSSIBLE to explain to a novice how incredibly fast,athletic,and explosive Lotzier Brooks is. He has work to do on his craft without question. But we will/have to work in the next few months to keep him, and then teach him how to play. NOBODY in America who plays WR is like him in what he does well. I have evaluated more than most,and nobody has more football speed than this young man has at this age EVER...And he is an incredibly gifted and competitive athlete...
The final WR I want in this class is another Mater Dei young man Marcus Harris...Another kid who is going to be tremendous down the road.... i actually like him as much as I do Rico Scott ,who is SO Undervalued it is pathetic...
We will probably lose Bernard after 24...And probably KLaw because he is so effing big,strong,fast,and explosive....But besides those 2 or Portal guys? Nobody else...

I want Quincy Porter I watched his tape and he just a versatile dawg 🐘🔥then after that Derek because he a big threat that has moves and speed for his size .Then with Caleb he said auburn is his leading school but I prefer the other two dudes bc there bigger and unique

4:37 if a white kid “who is going take care of me” I wonder if his first thought would’ve been the kid was implying money? When your a 5 star player and the #1 player in the state of Mississippi it goes without saying. I can positively assure you when he said “who’s going to take care of me” he didn’t mean money. He meant physical, mentally, emotional , educationally who was going be provide a path for his to be successful in the now and future. Again financially goes without saying.
