PeacePlayers Brooklyn MLK 2023 Recap

In honor of Dr. KING, PeacePlayers Brooklyn took part in a day dedicated to compassionate leadership and leading alognside community. Over 80+ youth from 3rd-12th grade took part in on and off court activities that highlighted athletic yoga and meditation, basketball skills, art activism, unity and collaboration, and spoken word poetry. This intergenerational celebration brought together kids, parents, and community members from various neighborhoods within Brooklyn. Even special guest, WNBA star, Didi Richards stopped in to join us in the fun!
