Don't be sorry for having something happen to you like that. You're completely understandable. Be kind to yourself. You got this Linc. The Großer hund is coming along great!
Dear Linc-Sensei, please watch your health, you are a big inspiration to me! i fell in love with Ma.K series couple of months ago and and consider you as my main online mentor for this (another one would be Chop-San from Chop-Factory channel). about your question what i am listening to when building, i recently discovered that the combo of building and cozy jazz music is most calming to me, i tried podcasts and anime, but it's turned out disturbing to me.
Great to see you back Linc. Glad to hear you're on the road to recovery as well. BTW, you're coming in 5-by-5, no worries about being able to hear you. Take care.
I have this exact version in my Ma.K backlog so I am avidly watching your progress. I prefer the muzzle on this version of the 'hund'. I think it also comes very close to the top of all-time best looking Ma.K designs. Genius, as you rightly say! When building, I listen to a UA-cam channel 'RaisedonRadio' where someone has uploaded radio interviews of famous rock stars. McCartney, Springsteen, Gilmore etc. Anyway, speedy recover Sir. Your videos and this hobby kept me going through the pandemic, so for that I am eternally grateful.
Nice kit, I´ll have to get into Ma.k some day, by now I´ve only built Gunpla (besides several 1/35 military models) and I love it. I follow your work years ago, I still have a few Spanish "Weathering Magazine" by Mig Jiménez where I discovered your amazing style of modelling and painting Sci-Fi mechas, and when I saw your UA-cam channel full of Gunpla tips, I subbed inmediately! Don´t be sorry for being ill, or not uploading videos, health first of all...I´m Spanish and I´m able to understand your speech same as before, can´t tell the difference. So stay safe, get better soon, build and finish the models you´re behind and cheers from Madrid, Spain! P.S: I´d like to see the Hund in winter camo or Dunkelgelb over Panzergrau. P.S.2: Don´t abuse alcohol, tobacco, drugs or Tamiya Extra Thin!!! Healthy life!!! 🤣
Hi Antonio, yes that's me from the Weathering Magazine. Great memories. Thanks for the kind words, instant sub and feedback on being able to understand me. Yes I agree on a winter camo version for a more advance version but on this early type am thinking Dunkelgelb over Panzergrau. Seems to fit really well! -Linc
Wish you well sensei and may you have a speedy recovery. Also just found a few Hasegawa kits today I'm gonna have to cave in and buy, including two variations of the Großerhund, so good timing on the video.
This looks awesome and inspiring! Thanks for this Linc- love the Ma.K.! Keep on eating’ veggies and vitamin K2, and doing this stuff anyway despite whatever has happened; prayers are with ya!
Sorry to hear about your health problems Linc and wish I you better health in the future, I have been out of the model making game for a few years,I think I burnt myself out but am slowly getting back into it. Nice to see you also and hope your family is doing well.
WW1 fighters were cool, the Germans did love to have custom paint jobs. The lozenge scheme would be fun in a red/ochre desert scheme instead of the original colours. I have purchased a Mk44 and a Luna Hund to build and procrastinating a camo design for each has been hurting my brain. Glad you are on a road to recovery.
Thanks Andrew and yes you are right, so many brilliant custom paint schemes to choose from! Thanks for getting both a MK44 and a Luna Hund, great kits. ^^
Sorry to hear that Linc. I'll be praying for a speedy recovery for you and peace of mind for your family. Take care of yourselves. I gotta question, what's the craziest kitbash Ma.K build you've seen? God Bless and stay strong, not twice as bright half as long!
Glad to see you're doing better! Have you ever tried using styrene strips and plastic cement for weld marks? I learned about the method watching High Arc Foundry and I found it easier to get nice weld lines this way than with using epoxies.
Yes, great idea. I'm good friends with HAF and it would be fun to do a shout out for him. I'm going to do a few more variants of these kits so will have a handful more chances to compare. Cheers! ^^
Welcome back Linc, great to hear about the rehabilitation going well, all the best! Can I vote for the WW1 purple & light green scheme? I think that would be very unusual and attractive for the Hund. WW1 planes and armour had some amazing colour schemes, very different from the drab WW2 armour & AF colours, and the former are great for Ma.K subjects. Cheers!
I'm looking forward to the next video. By the way do you know where I can get similar tension springs to the ones they have inside the kits in Australia? Can't seem to find any good ones online
“The joy of this kind of sci-fi modeling.” I always struggle trying to relate that to friends that complain these things don’t go together like Bandai kits. It’s sort of like food, some models go together without effort. It’s like eating a bag of chips, you can do that thoughtlessly. But I like the MaK style of builds. Takes a little bit of active engagement like using a knife and a fork. There’s sustenance there.
This reply contains sustenance. I really think you are on to something here LLP. Perhaps it's that effort that helps us appreciate the project more but I also think there's a kind of magic line there. I am wondering if that new A8/R8 will be that magic line between challenge of build and satisfaction with finish?
Glad you are doing better now, Linc Sensei. You inspired me to build Ma. K kits, and in the process I feel that I levelled up my model building skill (despite my builds were not even close to perfect, but I have fun). By the way I just found out that you have released the digital version of your Mk44 book at your Patreon, can I still get it now by joining the Book tier? Thanks!
Thanks very much for the kind words, really appreciated. Yes you can still get the MK44 Digital book on Patreon, hope you enjoy it. I'll message you a "thank you!" there as well!

Wow thanks Nimrod, that feedback is wonderful. ^^
Great one Link! Can’t wait to see the progress! Hope it will inspire me to finish one of the the two I have all built! 😅
More soon and big thanks ZakuAurelius! Look forward to yours as well. ^^

Linc, your content is still top class, wishing you a continued speedy recovery!
Much appreciated Paul!
Wish you well sensei and may you have a speedy recovery. Also just found a few Hasegawa kits today I'm gonna have to cave in and buy, including two variations of the Großerhund, so good timing on the video.
Thanks, you too Yes so good timing on the Großerhund!
You sound great and I’m glad to have my uncle Link back!!! And I maybe would like to see the yellow one done if your truly wondering.
Great suggestion and thanks for the kind words Pat!!
This looks awesome and inspiring! Thanks for this Linc- love the Ma.K.!

Hey Javo Look, welcome back to modelling and thanks for the kind words.
Hope you are doing better Linc. Just finished this kit last year, lots of fun!
Oh good stuff and thanks!
Also would love to see the Yellow over grey scheme that is your initial intuition! It immediately jumped out to me, before you mentioned it!
Aha, same mind on the Yellow. Good stuff and thanks always Cspo. ^^
Thanx for sharing this and for the posts. Stand strong! ☝🏼
...grey color schema for me 😁
Right on Lorenzo!

Many thanks K. Ten`mo. Craziest kitbash, just saw another beautiful one today by "Dimi" of a MK44 upgrade, really good stuff!
Your still awesome, keep up the good work
I appreciate it, thanks Richard!

Excellent!
Glad you liked it!
Oof, sorry to hear about the strokes
Looks cool
Thanks!
I'm looking forward to the next video. By the way do you know where I can get similar tension springs to the ones they have inside the kits in Australia? Can't seem to find any good ones online
Sure thing and most often I order the springs with the kits - HLJ carries WAVE and Hi-Q parts. Both are great!!
