Watching this again I was wondering what the wind blast would be at over 100 mph. Then I noticed the rear view mirror glass or plastic was completely broke!
A 2 wheel drive trophy truck with a double stack motor can top out at around 150 given the terrain...... Now a 4WD TT......not so mucha. It's kind of like the comparing a Hippo to a Zippo. One of them is a very big,impressive, and heavy animal that you don't want to mess with.....🦛 the other one is just a little lighter🚬
HerbstSmith truck faster in the rough fast whoops and probably one of the best set-up trucks out there, no doubt. Watch in car video of Millen in the Herbst TT, just as fast in these same sections.....BJ's 20 year old SPD truck likely better in the tight technical sections and twisty mountain roads (Baja). If the two drivers were switched in this same section, no doubt BJ would go around Harley at the same pace. These two trucks are night and day difference in set up and geometry, and probably engine package too. Gibbs making big power at high rpms---equals tremendous top speed....BJ's equipment and program not on these top tier teams funding level any longer....what really matters is who is first to the finish line lol...
