  • Hey Dazzlers... In this video we will make chocolate Covered oreos using a mold. Here are some links to the things we used.
I melt my chocolate in intervals til chocolate is 75%-80% melted so I dont overheat the chocolate. Usually this time frame works. If need be I will add another 10 sec at the end.
Intervals: 30 secs stir, 20 secs stir, 10 secs stir til melted.
Make sure to let sit for 3-5 mins to cool down. temperature should be between 88°-92° for most compound chocolates.

So I have wafer paper (not icing sheets). How would I apply wafer paper directly to the Oreo?

I'm new to making stuff. Is the pink stuff icing, or chocolate melts that you dye? I've been doing strawberries beith almond bark.

Enjoying your videos. And learning lots.
I put my DS Oreos in freezer for 10 minutes and some of them have cracks. I also notice the top is not so shiny…Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong?!

Sounds like your chocolate was too hot when you started. Make sure whenever you start with chocolate it is between 88°-92°F. This way there is no shock to the chocolate when set in the fridge or freezer.

How do you make your chocolate runny? Do you add oil?

I add in some paramount crystals to make mine a little thinner. But if you melt your chocolate correctly you really don't need anything. How I melt my chocolate is in the description on each video. Hope thay helps. 😊
