- Harvey Weinstein's conviction has been overturned due to "improper rulings," including a decision to let women testify about allegations that weren't part of the case. Five royal horses went wild in London, causing four people to be injured. San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan was involved in an altercation with a pedestrian while doing an interview and it was all captured on video!
Also discussed, Jim's best prank calls on "Crank Yankers" and Quentin Tarantino and KISS not being what they used to.

I kind of always thought the women agreed to the things that happened to them in a way... like, they could have said "No, fame isn't worth this" and called a cab.

I never got the Weinstein thing. The "casting couch" has been around since Charlie Chaplin. Young actor/actress wants a part, the guy who has the part to give wants sex - eyes open trade, don't call rape afterwards
Weinstein did things to underaged children, I'm assuming that even Charlie Chaplin waited until they were at least thirteen years old
A lot of these cases aren't what the media says they are (surprise surprise, the media lies).
Even the Cosby case isn't even close to what the media and internet says it was if you read the court documents. There was a legitimate reason for him to win his appeal too.
People like to virtue signal. When the mob picks a target left and right alike will line at a door with torches. They just focus on different people.
I'd say the casting couch is highly immoral, degenerate, and unacceptable. But, it's not in the same category as SA.
It was a media event that had nothing to do with crime. We live in a lawfare popularity contest society.

@@DaveLandauComedian looking back I recalled the scene after they wedded and were driving on shrooms, and the camera did linger on Juliette's feet hanging out by the passenger side mirror longer than necessary so you might have a point.

Yes, the overturning of some of the charges for Weinstein is a good thing. PoS or not you can't break the law to get a conviction just because you "feel" like it. You don't need to bring in "evidence". Fair trials are a requirement of the justice system.

Let's be brutally honest about it...yes Harvey was a monster...but if I had to bet, I would put money on most of those women knew exactly what they were doing. Which really puts it in a Grey area for consent.

You can't have an open secret to the point it becomes parody and then claim every woman was oblivious to it.
