Apparently, fly has HP thresholds to trigger it and you will always get at least 3 unless you find a way to skip the last one, dunno.
There is essentially no rolling here so the 2 shots a relic has over Furia lets it win out as well as no need for recoil down and EE lets me cram crit eye.
It feels good to innovate so much that you cut down quite a few mins off a matchup and make your favorite weapon faster than basically every other weapon.
Then another part of me feels terrible for taking a matchup that's supposed to be skill intensive and essentially turning it into a solo Hame snooze fest.
Thankfully however this strat doesn't exactly work on Black fatty and Crim doesn't have ramparts so it's impossible there. When I post those, they will be actual hunts.

Kinda unfortunate for mhw and iceborne where pierce was pretty bad but in other games it's always a good option

Oh no, sometimes fatty locks on to 1 spot when he does ranged attacks like that and I was expecting him to lock on to the old spot and I forgot there was a wall next to me by the time I realized he was aiming for me.

Step one, don't use p3

Step two, if you insist on using P3 then go to the casting machine on sunsung and use Arrowana catcher cat, then 2 meownster fishermen, 1 fearsome fisherman and 1 handsome haul
Step 3 after that is to either never save or dupe with someone

@@You_Know_Datguy alright thanks, reason I kinda need it is because in HR runs, you just use Barioth because it loads 6/6/5 for pierce, so I tend to have to craft more ammo on longer hunts, as apparently 180 isn't enough to kill some monsters???

@@somebodysomewhere652 Normal 3is really bad in old world, it's got 2 less motion then normal 2 all so that it can bounce.
For pierce 2, the main problem is simply the recoil. You'll want to get spme recoil down +1/2/3 so that you get "some" level of recoil. pierce 1 is still solid with it's 9-9-9 raw pattern, compared to pierce 2's 8-8-8-8 raw pattern, 1 more prock but weaker hits

I did state that relics beat furia in this one case but what I didn't say was by how much. I didn't exactly push Furia here but I would say the difference is roughly 30 seconds or so.
