i think it wasn't meant as "bow is weak" statement but more like you're basically a walking oneshot with a bow. So unlike other weapons, your Window for mistakes is way smaller and thus makes it harder to solo stuff like Kulve that easily@@Amoeba_Podre

She can be released in two ways: a) by reaching HP threshold, which is very high in purrsuit 1 and decreases all the way to pursuit 6, and b) by breaking 5 parts (not counting her horn plating), after breaking 5 she will dig, then, if you break 5 in room 3, she will release. if you break 5 parts again in room 2, she will dig again and you have to start over. in pursuit 1 speedrun they break 4 parts after she digs, then they let her go to room 3 and break the last part, so she will release instantly :)

Use elemental boost lvl 3 for the element of the bow Critical eye Weakness exploit (he used it in phase 4, I believe he used partbreaker in phase 1-3) You can try to get attack boost 4 for the affinity if needed There's bow charge + that exist as a jewel and as a bonus set for... Idk what armor set? Legiana maybe? Idk. But aim for the jewel Spread shot + normal +, both exist as jewels if you got one of them, you can use jyura or black Diablos boots to get the talent that you can't get via jewel and that's pretty much all you need to use bow, that skill that reduce you stamina consumption, lvl 3 is also needed, drink a dash juice to make it reach lvl 5 (halves your stamina consumption)
have you gotten a rarity 7 legiana bow? the damage and element are the same but you get 2 augment slots downside is that you can't use power coating :(

I'm not sure about the first one. I'd guess maybe paralysis kulve bow. Second was fletcher. I prefer sagitarii myself, comparable of you build right plus it looks way better.
I did this when kulve first came out. At the time i was moving so i didnt pay for gold, the only way i could have done her was solo. I also used the bow (i think its the most consistent weapon).
I just put away my other weapons and grab my lance. Heal each time the palico distracts it. Learn to either dodge his swipes or just counter them. I started countering them, it´s easier. When you get better just dodge at the last moment and keep poking him. When it does the thing where it jumps to a tree and then back to you just keep your shield up to block the atack and that´s it.

A good bow user can do tonnes of elemental damage. But sadly I could never master it. For me it was either hammer or dual swords.
I only mastered insect glaive and It won't be enough for kulve i think

Eager Cadet - it works for the first three phases if you only aim for the gold/horns, after that Legiana Snowfletcher is pretty much needed

How do you get that increased, glowing stamina regeneration?
You can drink Dash juice, eat a wiggly bug, or if your palico has the horn that gives you buffs sometimes you get a stamina buff
