Manipulation was strong in this game and shows how it affects people IRL. I actually believed Asuka was one of the antagonists by that picture alone not knowing the context. And the dreams showing the paranoia, breaking the trust you have for your friend. I also thought the police officer was genuine, the red flag was that he didn't want to enter the police box. He would be caught otherwise. The manager wasn't really that useful in most situations so I didn't expect her to be one of the perpetrators. It's a really great game.
I love how this game builds tension by making you paranoid. You don't know who the stalker is, it could literally be any person you meet or interact with throughout the entire game. Damn, I can actually understand the fear and paranoia real stalking victims undergo.

You slowly trick yourself into believing you're getting worked up over nothing but you're also afraid that if it does happen you wont be ready. You're in a constant mental battle of "i need to keep my guard up incase this happens" and "the thought is irrational, ive done this same thing many times with no outcome, im being paranoid".

I know this is a game about Parasocialism (Which if you don't know is basically being so obsessed with one person to the point it's unhealthy, it's a one-sided relationship), but I hope that nobody ever has to experience this type of thing. probs happens on a daily basis alot of streamers even youtubers get these type of things even like stalked, hacked, unknown number, letters, images of explict pictures (even videos) of the streamer/youtuber. You'll be surprised how far someone that thinks that streamer/youtuber is theirs alone and would do anything even kidnap them and tie them in a room so there is no where to run. From the top of my head a few streamers have reported they was in this type of thing (being stalked) one was Amouranth the hottub streamer an obsessive fan went as far as flying to Houston to marry her also claimed that they were engaged dude kept flooding her DMs can't remember what though. Anyway, another was Valkyrae that was online harassed, one stalker would keep seeing and commenting on her posts, even though she blocked them. As soon as Valkyrae blocked them, they would create a new account and continue harassing her so she was forced to make her twitter private so... pokimane wasn't actually in stalkish event more of just online harassment some dude kept insulting her or something but made her very uncomfy and last one I remember is a korean streamer I think she is but she was live walking through streets and stuff and her chat noticed a guy following her constantly, like full blown following at one point she stopped at a nearby cafe and was there for like an hour or so and when she carried on walking he was just up ahead sat down on the other side of the road more stuff happened cant remember if anything extreme happened other than the following cant remember her name though think it was jinny something.

This kind of 5D chess stuff never happens in real-life anyway. It ain't that deep. What I personally want to know is why every villain in Chilla's Art games is exclusively male. There was Night Security, but it was established that the main villain is the main character, who is... Male. Wow, what a shocker. I will say that Perfect Blue did this parasocial theme way better back in 1997 (and again in 2001 for the theatrical rerelease after the ban was lifted), and far more realistically too. Instead of being some massive operation run by five people, it was simply Mima's agent, coupled with her paranoia and fear.

At no point in the history of Japan have five people gotten together to manipulate someone into being in a relationship. There was that family in the 90s, but that was a completely different thing and wasn't parasocial. I never said that parasocial stuff doesn't happen in Japan, I said that this scenario is unrealistic. First of all, the ex-boyfriend's mother was involved. The main character had met his mother in the past, so the notion that she would not recognise her after only a few months is ludicrous. She would have also met his brother as well, who was also involved as the "police officer," so she would have recognised him as well. This story is very loosely put together. The games were only ever mentioned to Asuka, who told the main character to "keep playing them." Asuka also lied to the main character, stating that she would be "away for work" on both the day and after being unblocked, yet showed up that same day. Asuka also ran off for no reason right before the MC was knocked out. Yet, even after all of Asuka's suspicious behaviour, I am supposed to suspend my disbelief to astronomical levels, and believe that the MC's ex-boyfriend, along with his mother, brother, and some random guy were playing 2500D chess. Most of Chilla's Art games have a solid story, but this one seems a bit rushed, with dozens of plot holes that are lightyears across.
My apartment neighbor is a rich lady who has been stalked by her greedy ex-husband for years to the point where she can't even go out anymore because every single person she encounters could be paid by the ex husband. She only receives food from her children via delivery. She talks to me often because she probably knows I'm not one of the ex-husband's lackies. I'm glad that she trusts me, but I wonder if she feels the same fear and paranoia as Nina in this game 😢

She's a lonely rich old lady, twice-divorced, living by herself... she's practically an ideal victim for scammers but she's hearing none of it. I love how Chilla's art make this game as a semi-sequel of "The Closing Shift" with hidden easter eggs of Chilla's Art game reference. - You can see the worst Senpai who keeps lecturing to MC in "The Closing Shift" - You can see the ponytail girl has the same exact hairstyle like the MC from The Closing Shift however that's not her BECAUSE this game setting plot after The Closing Shift plot which both games have the same timeline - Mayumi and Mari are the same schoolgirl from the closing shift game, Now they have graduated from school and focusing on their college - Yosaku mentioned Hassaku san referring to the detective killed by the stalker from the Closing Shift - When Nina enters the market store, It has the same background music with "The Convenience Store" music's - Nina Vtuber playing Aka Manto - Asuka got a new game called "The Convenience Store" for Nina to play in the next streaming.

There were tons of Hints to the Stalker, The first was that He actually was watching MC's Stream the entire time (The User ILoveNiina) He Mentioned about Her Bath, The Coffee, The Snacks she bought, etc. The Game the Stalker made, Almost Everything was Linked to the Events of the Story, First we Started IN THE STALKERS APARTMENT, Then we Were on the Alley Where The Player (Who I'm assuming was Meant to be The Stalker due to having to Avoid the Officer) Had to Get a Girl (Who I'm assuming is Supposedly meant to be the MC) Then the Convenience Store, Then To MC's Apartment. Rikuya Coming into the Store and that whole Interaction, Ryan Failed to notice but the Stalker was actually outside the Store looking into it (This is Supposedly after when Asuka told them off) This Lead to the Chase Like instantly after which is Quite suspicious because like wouldn't Rikuya Come out to confront him?? And Honestly Shirota ("The Police Officer") was quite suspicious even before the twist that he wasn't actually a Police officer 1) He was not in the Police Box, Infact he was actually coming from the pathway the Apartments were in 2) instead of talking to MC in the safety of the Police Box, He chose a Public Park. A Public Park where She could still secretly be Spied on (Which is possible Due to the Stalker having Photos of MC in several spots)

He missed multiple chat massages from the stalker. He commented about her drinks, what she ate, the TV going on, her bath, stood outside the convenience store, he was in tthe coffee shop.
Great video this time, too. I'm starting to see all the connections. The building manager talking about a stalker even though you didn't bring it up, the policeman stopping you before you went into the police box and taking you to the park which is really weird, and Asuka retelling her side of the story of how the stalker cane up to her and just stalled for time, giving Rikiya enough time to take pictures to incriminate her. And all this coming together to create an atmosphere of not knowing who to really trust in this situation. Chillas Art created and amazing game this time too. I've also noticed that most of their games can be real life occurrences sometimes and that is awesome. Sorry for rambling

There were multiple times where certain people mentioned stuff that happened in her house, like "iLoveNiina" repeatedly mentioning what happened he previous night, or asking about a specific person she met at the store. I 1000% agree with you Ryan. I myself am iffy of one sided (parasocial) relationships/friendships as well. I’ve stressing for a long time, even at young age that “All celebrities, mainstream and e- shouldn’t be treated as gods and goddesses, let alone as friends to fans and vise versa. Treat celebrities as flawed humans that made something out of nothing.” I give that self taught statement credit for not going the way of the stan. The same principle can also be applied to some celebrities who are parasocial with their fans as well. The more that people respect boundaries and accept that the chances of fans being friends with their favorite celebrity and vise versa are slim to none, the world will be a better, nicer, and healthier place. I know this is a game about Parasocialism (Which if you don't know is basically being so obsessed with one person to the point it's unhealthy, it's a one-sided relationship), but I hope that nobody ever has to experience this type of thing. It's not healthy and anybody that commits it has lots of issues to sort out as well
probs happens on a daily basis alot of streamers even youtubers get these type of things even like stalked, hacked, unknown number, letters, images of explict pictures (even videos) of the streamer/youtuber. You'll be surprised how far someone that thinks that streamer/youtuber is theirs alone and would do anything even kidnap them and tie them in a room so there is no where to run. From the top of my head a few streamers have reported they was in this type of thing (being stalked) one was Amouranth the hottub streamer an obsessive fan went as far as flying to Houston to marry her also claimed that they were engaged dude kept flooding her DMs can't remember what though. Anyway, another was Valkyrae that was online harassed, one stalker would keep seeing and commenting on her posts, even though she blocked them. As soon as Valkyrae blocked them, they would create a new account and continue harassing her so she was forced to make her twitter private so... pokimane wasn't actually in stalkish event more of just online harassment some dude kept insulting her or something but made her very uncomfy and last one I remember is a korean streamer I think she is but she was live walking through streets and stuff and her chat noticed a guy following her constantly, like full blown following at one point she stopped at a nearby cafe and was there for like an hour or so and when she carried on walking he was just up ahead sat down on the other side of the road more stuff happened cant remember if anything extreme happened other than the following cant remember her name though think it was jinny something.

What I personally want to know is why every villain in Chilla's Art games is exclusively male. There was Night Security, but it was established that the main villain is the main character, who is... Male. Wow, what a shocker.
I will say that Perfect Blue did this parasocial theme way better back in 1997 (and again in 2001 for the theatrical rerelease after the ban was lifted), and far more realistically too. Instead of being some massive operation run by five people, it was simply Mima's agent, coupled with her paranoia and fear.

It has always only been one person who is obsessed with another person. At no point in the history of Japan have five people gotten together to manipulate someone into being in a relationship.
There was that family in the 90s, but that was a completely different thing and wasn't parasocial.
I never said that parasocial stuff doesn't happen in Japan, I said that this scenario is unrealistic.
First of all, the ex-boyfriend's mother was involved. The main character had met his mother in the past, so the notion that she would not recognise her after only a few months is ludicrous.
She would have also met his brother as well, who was also involved as the "police officer," so she would have recognised him as well.
This story is very loosely put together. The games were only ever mentioned to Asuka, who told the main character to "keep playing them." Asuka also lied to the main character, stating that she would be "away for work" on both the day and after being unblocked, yet showed up that same day. Asuka also ran off for no reason right before the MC was knocked out.
Yet, even after all of Asuka's suspicious behaviour, I am supposed to suspend my disbelief to astronomical levels, and believe that the MC's ex-boyfriend, along with his mother, brother, and some random guy were playing 2500D chess.
Most of Chilla's Art games have a solid story, but this one seems a bit rushed, with dozens of plot holes that are lightyears across.
My apartment neighbor is a rich lady who has been stalked by her greedy ex-husband for years to the point where she can't even go out anymore because every single person she encounters could be paid by the ex husband. She only receives food from her children via delivery. She talks to me often because she probably knows I'm not one of the ex-husband's lackies. I'm glad that she trusts me, but I wonder if she feels the same fear and paranoia as Nina in this game 😢

However, I think she's in a mentally vulnerable place right now because she believes she's been talking to Elon Musk and refuses to listen to my warning about it being a scam because this "Elon" is making her feel special. She's a lonely rich old lady, twice-divorced, living by herself... she's practically an ideal victim for scammers but she's hearing none of it. I love how Chilla's art make this game as a semi-sequel of "The Closing Shift" with hidden easter eggs of Chilla's Art game reference.
- You can see the worst Senpai who keeps lecturing to MC in "The Closing Shift"
- You can see the ponytail girl has the same exact hairstyle like the MC from The Closing Shift however that's not her BECAUSE this game setting plot after The Closing Shift plot which both games have the same timeline
- Mayumi and Mari are the same schoolgirl from the closing shift game, Now they have graduated from school and focusing on their college
- Yosaku mentioned Hassaku san referring to the detective killed by the stalker from the Closing Shift
- When Nina enters the market store, It has the same background music with "The Convenience Store" music's
- Nina Vtuber playing Aka Manto
- Asuka got a new game called "The Convenience Store" for Nina to play in the next streaming.
Tbh the Ponytail thing usually a standard procedure so the female employee doesnt ruin your food with hairfall.

There were tons of Hints to the Stalker, The first was that He actually was watching MC's Stream the entire time (The User ILoveNiina) He Mentioned about Her Bath, The Coffee, The Snacks she bought, etc.
The Game the Stalker made, Almost Everything was Linked to the Events of the Story, First we Started IN THE STALKERS APARTMENT, Then we Were on the Alley Where The Player (Who I'm assuming was Meant to be The Stalker due to having to Avoid the Officer) Had to Get a Girl (Who I'm assuming is Supposedly meant to be the MC) Then the Convenience Store, Then To MC's Apartment.
Rikuya Coming into the Store and that whole Interaction, Ryan Failed to notice but the Stalker was actually outside the Store looking into it (This is Supposedly after when Asuka told them off) This Lead to the Chase Like instantly after which is Quite suspicious because like wouldn't Rikuya Come out to confront him??
And Honestly Shirota ("The Police Officer") was quite suspicious even before the twist that he wasn't actually a Police officer
1) He was not in the Police Box, Infact he was actually coming from the pathway the Apartments were in
2) instead of talking to MC in the safety of the Police Box, He chose a Public Park. A Public Park where She could still secretly be Spied on (Which is possible Due to the Stalker having Photos of MC in several spots)
the fact ryan didn’t notice that someone with the user “ILoveNina” said “Did you enjoy your bath?” makes this 10x more disturbing, but seeing the camera at the end was even worse.
He missed multiple chat massages from the stalker. He commented about her drinks, what she ate, the TV going on, her bath, stood outside the convenience store, he was in tthe coffee shop.

The building manager talking about a stalker even though you didn't bring it up, the policeman stopping you before you went into the police box and taking you to the park which is really weird, and Asuka retelling her side of the story of how the stalker cane up to her and just stalled for time, giving Rikiya enough time to take pictures to incriminate her.
And all this coming together to create an atmosphere of not knowing who to really trust in this situation. Chillas Art created and amazing game this time too.
I've also noticed that most of their games can be real life occurrences sometimes and that is awesome.

There were multiple times where certain people mentioned stuff that happened in her house, like "iLoveNiina" repeatedly mentioning what happened he previous night, or asking about a specific person she met at the store. It happened multiple times. I'm glad you noticed it near the end.

I 1000% agree with you Ryan. I myself am iffy of one sided (parasocial) relationships/friendships as well. I’ve stressing for a long time, even at young age that “All celebrities, mainstream and e- shouldn’t be treated as gods and goddesses, let alone as friends to fans and vise versa. Treat celebrities as flawed humans that made something out of nothing.” I give that self taught statement credit for not going the way of the stan. The same principle can also be applied to some celebrities who are parasocial with their fans as well. The more that people respect boundaries and accept that the chances of fans being friends with their favorite celebrity and vise versa are slim to none, the world will be a better, nicer, and healthier place. If I were to ever see you in the street, I’d respectfully keep my distance and let you do your thing.
