IRL I am introverted and usually just observe rather than engage, but professionally I have to engage with the public, sometimes in large group public speaking. I think of it as public theater and I play an outgoing character. I stopped worrying about what other people think about me around age 30, but I still like to put good energy into being a public servant because I want to do my best to help others.
