My dad is over 50 years old and doesn't care at all about tokusatsu, anime, manga, or anything that "young people" like.
But I showed him this season and he absolutely loved it.
I turned an old man into a Kamen Rider fan with this blu-ray set.
That's how good this show is.
His favorite character is Is.
She's cute and the best girl.
Literally just watching this trailer reminded me why i loved Zero-One so much. Hope we get other seasons if this is succesfuly, like OOO or W or Fourze. I'd pay for those in a heartbeat

PLEASE let this be the day toei begins pushing official rider streaming and subs to their western audiences. I LIVE for that day because tokusatsu needs this recognition
we already have The Original Series, Kuuga, Ryuki (in streaming Only) and Zero-One (in January both on streaming and Blu-Ray) plus we are suppose to have more announced at the Special Edition SDCC at the end of the month (some theorise they are gonna announced Double as the next series to be release to go with the Anime Sequel that will begin next summer)

I know, I know... old comment, but, I bought a region free Blu Ray player (also it is a region free DVD player) just so I can watch Kamen Rider. I use the region free capabilities for other TV series and movies too, but the main reason why I bought it was so I could watch Kamen Rider on Blu Ray. The region here where I live is region B, and Kamen Rider hasn't come to my country, region B, with English subs. It could take many years before it comes to my country, Kamen Rider may never come here, who knows. So I wanted a region free Blu Ray player so I can play the region A Kamen Rider Blu Rays. It is great as I now have the capability to play whatever region Blu Ray or DVD I wish, which is very handy. Region free Blu Ray and DVD players are not cheap though, but it is worth it to me. I have always wanted a region free DVD player (before Blu Rays came out, I had wanted one), as it is really handy for me and there are more choices for me to watch things that have not come to my country.
I'm inclined to support this release and purchase a copy. Mainly because I'd like to see more releases of Kamen Rider on Blu-Ray. Particularly, KAMEN RIDER 555.

The fact that 01 preorders sold out in 24 hours is a very good sign that we will be getting more. So everyone please be sure to preorder your copy now and show your support. Good news my dude. We're getting the complete Kamen Rider Kuuga on Bluray this Sept. Zero One BD sold super well, I'm guessing Kuuga will sell really well too and we will get more Rider sets on BD. Nothing better than owning these sets physically instead of worrying about them being taken off streaming. Just look at all the crap that has been going on with WarnerBros/Discovery and HBOMAX.
I havent ever watched kamen rider before but this looks amazing so I'm definitely gonna check it out

This trailer got me excited and start getting into Kamen Rider. Started watching Kamen Ruder Ryuki and I’ve been loving it! And I preordered this series!
Best week of my life, being able to order an official home media release of one of my favorite superhero shows. I'll be buying a lot more of these if they decide to release more. Possibly all of them if I get the chance.
I've always wanted to start Kamen Rider but never could because it was never available in the US. So cool that you guys are doing this. Already pre ordered! Can't wait to watch it.

Finally an official release of Kamen Rider blu-ray in America! Shout! You need to bring back Super Sentai because Hasbro shouldn’t stop you from doing that, they own Power Rangers not Super Sentai so please bring them back with Kamen Rider because there are some crossovers between the two series.
Hasbro owns the right to sentai footage in the west
@@chaosenforcerdhm969 This is a common misconception. Toei owns all rights to Super Sentai period. Hasbro only has the rights to Power Rangers and other US adaptations like VR Troopers and Beetleborgs from Saban. Shout Factory licenses Super Sentai directly from Toei.

@@chaosenforcerdhm969 Sorry but you're 100% incorrect. Hasbro only has the rights to the US adaptations they acquired from Saban. That's PR, TV Troopers, Beetleborgs etc. The licensing deal clearly stated what they got from Saban. Not even Saban had the rights to the Japanese series, they had to pay licensing fees to Toei to use the Japanese footage. They did not acquire the rights to any of the Japanese shows. Not how that works. Toei owns all of Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Metal Hero series period. So all licensing for any of those series Shout Factory has to go through Toei to license them to be released on home video in NA. The upcoming Fiveman set has Toei and EOne on it. Eone is Hasbros entertainment division.

Great news but there needs to be a good quality release of Ryuki too. Dragon Knight also needs to finally be on streaming services and dvd/blu-ray.
Make sure to buy a copy of the 01 Bluray. Support of this release is vital to us getting more Rider sets.

You got your wish Kuuga is coming to Bluray in Sept of this year. Hopefully all Rider releases will be on Bluray rather than DVD. A huge chunk of series have Bluray releases in Japan so hopefully Shout will follow suit here. So far so good.

Discotek media has released Meta Beast Investigator Juspion the 4th series and we're getting Space Sheriff Gavan the 1st series. Its up for preorder now at RightStufAnime, you can snag them both there. They are both fantastic series.

I just purchased this set sealed brand new on eBay. The set is listed as 08 disc but for some reason mine has 10 disc and was missing disc 01 and disc 09. Is this a manufacturing error?

They wanted to have the first season of every era. They already have Kamen Rider 71 and Kuuga. So this is all they needed.
@@uchihasain i can see why you'd want a gaim release but as a starting point, zero one was the best choice. most recent "first season" for the era and the entire series is branded as a "new start" for the franchise as it is, so we will likely see gaim in the future if this sells well.
Hopefully the sales is good enough to be sold overseas like in Australia or something

Zero one is a good start, actually. Universally considered good, follow most Kamen rider tropes. Can be watch legally

Even though they're advertised as region 1, the Mill Creek sets are actually region free. I live in the UK and their sets work just fine on my region b setup

I wish Shout Factory will release another, Kamen Rider series on Blu ray from 1971 to 1989 with English subtitles. And I wish they going to release the Super Sentai Series from 1975 to 1990 also on Blu ray. We need to wait after Shout release Kamen Rider Zero One
Kamen Rider will depends on if Zero-One sell well, but for Super Sentai, forget about it, the Rights to Super Sentai are linked to those of Power Rangers, which Hasbro owns (they own both due to the Footage they use) so they need Hasbro permission to release Super Sentai in the west and considering that after they acquired PR, Shout stopped releasing Super Sentai sets, i think we pretty much know their answer to that
@@DarkAnon100 I think Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger could be the last Super Sentai they released when Hasbro got the rights to it. If they have shown ABA Ranger on the final episode of Hurricanger episode 50 on disc 8 that's the time they need to stop. And I heard Shout is going to release an Anime on Blu-ray. But we better wait for the release of Kamen Rider Zero One in January of 2022, and the announcement from Shout. Who knows they going to release the Kamen Rider on Blu-ray from 1971 all the way to 1989. So we need to wait
Do this with all Kamen Rider series. Not just the Reiwa, but the Heisei and Showa. I don't care if its blue-ray, I'd buy them all.
Newcomer to kamen rider here I've started watching Kamen rider with the show that kicked off the Heisei Era Kamen rider kuuga I loved it the first time and now I'm watching it the second time,finished up ryuki although the final episode was pretty confusing and bad,currently watching Zero one and Ichigou.

well techically it's the fourth (Shout Factory already have the Original series, Kuuga and Ryuki which was released Monday for streaming on their Website) but Zero-One (which will also be available for streaming in January) will indeed be the first Rider Season to be officially release in the American Market (but not the first Rider Product. the First true Rider Product is the Kamen Rider the First movie)

if Zero-one sells well, they might, Zero-One is more recent so it's easier to release, i'm not sure how the rights worked but it probably cost more to have the right to release something on Physical media than on Streaming so how well this sells will tell them is they should invest in those

on physical media, yeah, Digitally, it will be the sixth (the fourth by Shout Factory after the Original Series, Kuuga and Ryuki (which was released last week))

This is the first Rider series release on Bluray. Generation Kikaida released Kamen Rider V3 on DVD years ago. its still available. its not cheap, but worth every penny.

Hasbro is the New Harmony Gold by this point, & wanna use Power Rangers for their Cinematic Universe Starting with a Deadpool Wannabee Snake Eye, & Cena as it's Nick Fury.
