If you can ever catch a live show, do it. Not only is the band incredible in concert, but they are the nicest guys on the planet. They love their fans and are so good to us. And if you show up, you’ll meet some of the best friends you never knew had.
Guster is for lovers! Heating this at Red Rocks was a core memory. Thank you for listening. You’ve only scratched the service of the wonder of Guster. Keep going….
Thank you for reacting to Guster. They have been my favorite band since I first saw them live in 1996. Please do spend some time listening to their music. They’re one of those great bands that not many people know about and it’s a shame.
You chose a fantastic version. The recorded is fine....but then you hear a live version...no comparison! Their shows are super fun too. The band members are so engaging and the fans are really nice. Bring the whole family you won't regret it
Guster is one of my top 3 favourite bands of all TIME. Their live shows are AMAZING and Ryan, Brian, Adam and Luke are the nicest guys ❤ Their entire body of work is just 🤌🏻
College Music Journal used to include a CD of new music in each issue. I thank the lord above that they included Airport Song by Guster and made me a fan back in the mid 90s.
So glad you got to Guster! Applause to the one who recommended them! I’ve seen them twice with an orchestra- in Portland with the Oregon Symphony, and at Red Rocjs with the Colorado. Always an amazing event.
Been loving Guster for decades, they just get better. Saw them 4 times in the last year, Boston (with the Pops - WOW), Jacksonville and Orlando (Era's tour :)!)
My first encounter with Guster was them opening for BNL in... '98? '99? Somewhere in there. This song has lived in my heart since it was released, a couple years after that, and I love the studio version (which I would rate as a fairly 'big' song in its own way), but this version is just magical, and has lately been taking up a lot of real estate in my mind. "What You Wish For" and "Happier" are also fantastic tracks.
O-ma-ha, oooo-maaa-haaa. I recommend listening to their entire catalog. I have been in love with this band since 1997. I was even lucky enough to got to this show that was where the song was recorded. Brian is called the thunder God because of this incredible skill on the bongos.
Hey! I was present at this show. In fact, I can pick myself out of the audience when the lights flash. Perhaps I'm biased, but i believe you selected the best possible version of this song. I'm glad you seem yo enjoy it, as its a favorite of mine. It helps ground me, and provides resolve in situations where i might otherwise come lacking. Great song, great performance, great reaction! Thanks for sharing.
I love Guster so much. I’ve seen them live a lot and if you haven’t you should at least once. Come Downstairs and Say Hello is one of my favorite Guster songs of all time.
This concert was on my birthday and I got to be there, best birthday ever! One of my top 5 Guster concerts of all time. Guster is for lovers! Thanks for spreading the love!
I know i'm late coming to this, glad you got to see the orchestra with Guster on this one. Check their Austin City Limits version of this song, Harri. Or the version on Guster On Ice. The camera work on this irritates me - all eyes should be on the drummer Brian Rosenworcel about 4 minutes in, and should never move. Brian is an absolute monster on the kit - and you're right. He deserves a beer. Guster fans are the friendliest fans. You should come to some shows and hang out. Would love to share a full first time experience seeing them with you (i've seen them..... a lot).
I am a huge Guster fan and have seen them multiple times. Thanks for your reaction video and glad to see you were blown away. Their music has evolved over time and does not all sound the same. The drummer aka "The Thunder God" adds a great beat. I strongly recommend listening to some of their other stuff, they have some in studio sets on UA-cam that are different than their albums. Just good stuff.
Thanks so much for giving us some amazing Guster, Harri! I've enjoyed them since I first heard their song Barrel of a Gun on the radio. Amsterdam is a favorite, but they have many I'm sure you'd enjoy.
This felt like a classic "first time hearing Guster" reaction- almost like it was hard for you to break and speak about it while it was happening. Their music progresses in such a beautiful and impacting way, while more often than not, progressing in a way that sounds fun even though they often take on serious emotional content.
The large music hall makes the acoustic guitar and vocal opening impressive. Nice guitars a la The Edge, at times. Well done by all. My first time hearing this band. EDIT - Just listened to a few other cuts from this album. I loved Mind Kontrol and That's No Way To Get To Heaven.🎧🎶👍
It's a nice sound... Regarding the name = I had met a young man in Cleveland, Ohio; 35 or 6 years ago; who said that his name was "D'Guster"... I'm NOW thinking, that his Daddy's name; may well have BEEN: "Guster"!!! On the OTHER HAND; I have also worked with a guy named DeJesus... I'm pretty sure, that his Daddy was NOT JESUS!!!
Gus was the original name of the band. When they went to release their first album they learned another band was already named Gus. So, they changed their name to Guster.
Guster, A early 90's band that didn't gain popularity til the 2000's and arguably the most underrated band ever.
I'm glad they're still going strong. We saw them a few months back in Boston.
Something like that 😅

Underrated band. Saw them at Red Rocks this year. Stunning.
this is the absolute best song of all time in my opinion. great to see people giving it some love

Guster is so underrated! Love them and this performance. Please dig into their catalogue and enjoy!
My first time for him/them. Beautiful with the orchestra for sure!!!
"Be calm,be brave,it'll be ok" one of the lyrics in this song that has become an anthem for us fans. Guster brings more than music, they bring life.
Calm down

First for me and I loved it! Thanks for another great reaction 👍💯😎
I LOVE Guster! I've only seen them twice in concert, but I frequently listen to them all day, on repeat! Percussion by our Thundergod!
Guster rocks! I have loved th se people for more than a 20 years.
Been loving Guster for decades, they just get better. Saw them 4 times in the last year, Boston (with the Pops

Guster is sick, I've loved them for 20+ years now. Dispatch is another band you need to check out, they're godlike

Buster is such an incredible live band. This song still gives me the chills! Glad you reviewed this one:)
Buster, huh?
Guster is magic! So fun seeing someone enjoy them for the first time!
Damn. Holy Shit! Guster.
You must listen to Ruby Falls by Guster, and their new album Ooh La La releasing May 17.
Jack you made it all up by recommending this song.
Welcome to the Guster fam!
Love Guster, don’t eat them

Guster or bust! Sorry not sorry you'll be addicted now!
Now do “Parachute” by Guster!
Seriously?? Of all the songs you could pick that's the one ?🤣
@@jpb111 for a reaction video? Yes. Jeff.
Wow. Interesting.
