"You know it's really messed up when pain is a nice, welcoming feeling - because it's a feeling at all." Truth spoken by someone who understands what it's like to be in a dark place because they have themnselves. Very well said. I found Peep a couple of years before he died and his music struck a deep chord with me. A few years later after he died, I myself was addicted to the same type of drug that eventually took Peep's life. Two years, gone, wasted, down the drain. I've never known emptiness like when I was deep in benzodiazepine addiction. Nothing mattered. I didn't care what happened to me. I knew all the risks that the class of substance carried with it, and I welcomed it - hoping one night would be the night I would get so high that I'd fall asleep and stop breathing and never wake up. Eight months clean and I still want to die, but I'm trying to figure it all out.
