The busy tourist season on Magnetic Island is from April to October, which sees vastly increased traffic and visitor numbers. Closing the Alma Bay bus stop has ended up with buses finding it hard to safely turn at the Hayles ave/Armand Way intersection. Alma Bay Bus stop can be used without using the turnaround: see bus driver' solution below.

This video was taken over 1 hour today, Easter Saturday. There are 5 buses carrying around 4,000 people in total today up and down Hayles Ave. This was not the busiest of days. .
