Being a Canadian who leared basic French in school the first one seemed so obvious to me cause I was like oh filles is girls and garcons is boys... But then I realized they're American and don't learn French in school
having grown up in Germany those were no problem at all. The italian I could derive from my four years of latin which I never knew was possible. But it's weird if your secondary school specialised in languages and you just always thought that everybody speaks 4 languages fluently and 6 more conversationally and then there are people who struggle to pronounce short sentences. Do vietnamese or something that isn't so easy
