    Spacers are spacers are spacers FOR THE MOST PART. I don’t know how anyone could say they’re getting a different steering feel from another spacer with the same design. The screw that connects it to your ROTOR, just makes it easier to not have to line up the holes when you remove the wheel and it wants to spin your spacer. Even if these things weighed a fraction that your ECS or Turner(which are made by the same manufacturer) spacers did, you wouldn’t notice it until you tracked your car at high levels. Not trying to sound like a dick. I’ve been a sub for a couple years now I think but this video was a reach

      I hear what you're saying, but for me, it's all about results. After being on my 3rd set with the same tires/alignment etc, I no longer have steering wheel feedback. Since that was the only variable changed, I can confidently say that it's worth it to install these over other brands. I can't explain it more in depth than that.

    Do you get rubbing by putting 18mm in front?

    Do you think you could fit the 275 or even a 285 rear without the spacer?

    Would the rear stick out with 10mm spacers and stock 265s? Been thinking about doing 10 rear and 12.5 or 15 for the front (can’t decide) with the company wheels

      Abhijeet Kundan I've seen via e92 m3 forums that it's advised not to go with 10mm spacers as they do not seat properly. 12.5mm rear and 15mm is a popular option, which is what I'll probably end up going with.

    Have you noticed an increase in rocks/debris being kicked up from the front tires after installing the spacers?

    Not bad. I think ima try the future classic spacers next. I had the ecs spacers before and they were fine. I think it might have caused a little wheel vibration but that could be in my head.
    12mm spacers in the rear is totally fine on stock suspension.
    I was on the lowest setting with the KW HAS kit and had 12.5mm spacers with a 285 tire in the rear. Minor rubbing.
    Just curious how the 18mm will look with a 255 tire up front. I fear it might poke out too much, especially if the car is lowered.
    Are you running 245s up front? Any rubbing when turning or full lock?

    Are you running any spacers on the E39 M5? Future Classics currently do not make any spacers for the E39 series and I really need to push out the wheels!

    • @ShiftedPerspective
      @ShiftedPerspective  4 роки тому +1

      I actually don't have any spacers for the E39. I've considered it, but the stock offset doesn't bother me nearly as much as E92.

    Is that copper paste on aluminium spacers? Aluminum is very susceptible to galvanic corrosion in contact with copper. Just add som water...
